  • After taking a look around the new camping and cabin area at Coyote Creek State Park, my friends and I take a scenic trip to see Morphy Lake which is
nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in Northern New Mexico at 8000' elevation.
I am a single female traveler, wandering the USA in my 2014 Phoenix Cruiser with my beautiful mixed breed dog Jazzy. Living life on the road for 365 days a year, I find joy in the company of wonderful friends and the breathtaking sights our country offers.
Whether it's the tranquility of a quiet sunrise or the camaraderie of nomadic friendships, each moment is a cherished chapter.
I usually choose the road less traveled, often dry camping without services. My electrical needs are met by solar power, harnessing the sun's energy to charge my house batteries.
If you find joy in the exploration of the open road, the beauty of nature, and the tales of a solo nomad, hit that Subscribe button and Ring the Bell for notifications. Let's embark on this journey together.
Thank you for being a part of my RUclips community.
May the road ahead be filled with peace, blessings, and endless discoveries.

Gorgeous places and views. The music you chose was perfect too. If I was still in my minivan, I'd go to Morphy Lake, but I like a bit more room to maneuver my truck and trailer combo.

I have a town-home in Las Cruces and "try" to venture out in my older Lazy Daze mid-bath for at least 1/2 of the year. Home for the summer after spending December - May in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, MX. I bit the bullet and bought a NM State Park Pass yesterday but was immediately disappointed to discover everything is "booked up" (even though I got a deal as a resident and a senior). Sadly, I discovered if someone is a "no show" the site isn't added to the pool and is just "lost."

@@DesertDiva I love Lazy Daze!! As for the State Parks - yep, you can look online and find very few available sites but go to the park and find lots of empty spots. Very aggravating. You have to book 6 months out at the very popular Parks and probably 3 months at the less popular places. Some of the lakes have lots of first come first serve primative areas but not all.
