You have had a rough stretch down there... when you can't even get to feeding the cattle is a nightmare. Surprisingly up here it's been calm for about 80% of the winter so far, but the other 20% has been nasty, mainly dealing with the snow that hasn't changed much at all. I think you guys have taken all the wind in Janurary, it's been eerily quiet mostly.
I'm sorry to hear that you have suffered stock losses as a result of really bad weather. Any amount of snow coupled with 50mph wind let alone drinking water issues, due to the cold, is a recipe for a farm scale disaster with livestock. I do hope that the rest of the winter period is not as severe for you all.
The twin screws are heavier from my research The single screw is less parts but much taller but being taller it helps when you put large round bales in

More snow today…. More snow this year than we normally get in five

We needed the moisture but just are not use to this much snow at once

I think that load was 6500 lbs. around 3600 of hay
