I would love to see someone try to buy that car at 15k off and see the final result. Great video, thanks!!!
I work at a dealership, they use the nice cars to advertise and put stickers on for lease deals for low end cars to get you in the door, so that nice vw suv was not 119 dollar lease that was for their low end car.
If you got the car the dealer made money on you. Whether it is "underneath" money, manufacturer spiff, rebate to dealer, zero interest floor plan, stealing your trade with "show money"......and a lot of other incentives that I don't know anything about, the dealer made money if you got the car.
cuz buyers are buying on website. nobody randomly walk in and buy. you are one generation behind. dont despair though. there is still time to get up to speed
I’d like to see everyone not buy any of these cars and let these dealers fail completely. Honestly, what they did through the pandemic was criminal. Abusive really. That’s how I feel about it. Not ethical, that’s for sure. Deal with dealers that did not engage in the rape tactics through the pandemic. They are the fair and respectful businesses that deserve your money. Here in Canada I don’t think our dealers are in the same situation. You can’t blatantly charge above MSRP up here. They play games in other ways, but it’s hard to achieve what dealers do in the US. As such, I believe this contributes to the market being a bit more stable up here.
People need to understand that Florida dealers are loaded with fees. Most of these are at least 5k to the price of the car. In Florida, if the dealer has a $1100 doc fee, he must charge that doc fee to every customer no matter what because he tells the local government or state what it is so that he is fair to all customers. That goes for $3000 fee for life time oil changes and $700 electronic registration fees. So when you see this cuts in MSRP in Florida, it is the only thing they can cut because the fees they tell the state are good for a year. The next year they can change these add on's with the state So you are seeing big MSRP cuts, it is the only way he can discount the car.
I love the grounded reality of this channel!! Retirement took a toll on my finances, but I am so excited with my involvement in the digital market. $110k monthly has been life changing. Regardless of how bad it gets on the economy.

Giving her my initial savings of $51,000 to invest in a brokerage account was a turning point in my life. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience and the best decision I ever made!
Dealerships would always tell salesman not to burn the customer if the salesman ever wanted the customer to come back, by charging to much money, now they burn't all their customers in 2020 during the pandemic and they are screwed. Well they made their money during the pandemic, now it's time to pay the piper. I never met a poor dealer. So now they're probably making it on service. The back end. Dealers don't loose money. The dealerships have multiple ways to make money.
I’ve never bought a car or truck and then owed more than it was worth. My last purchase was 2 years ago, 2019 Ford F150 4x4 for $30,995 with only 7,300 miles…currently it’s still worth more than I owe on it. When people are $$5000-$10,000 over, that’s crazy. I’ve been lucky and smart to never buy anything that has broken or be so bad I had to get rid of for a loss…
@ NY state, western NY. I’m careful when I buy, I buy cars/trucks with great resale value, for example is a 2015 Subaru WRX I bought for $24,800 new, drove it 2 years the old for $23,000. Then bought Subaru STI for $36,000 total then drove it 36,000 miles and sold it for $30,000 the exact amount I owed on it with zero downpayment or trade in. If I bought a BMW or a Chevy they would be worth $10,000 less after a year.

The dealers u drove by for Jeep and Volkswagen are owned by Wallace. By far the biggest scammers when it comes to bait and switch. I’ve purchased 3 cars from them and u can bet that the figures u see on those vehicles are not what you will end up getting. By far the most difficult dealers to work with when it comes to negotiations. Plan to be there for half a day when buying a car from them. Just last year they were selling jeep wranglers for $10k over sticker.
What's funny is you are bad mouthing a dealership that you bought 3 cars from LOL And a year ago everybody else was selling them for 10000 over also wake up dude

Jeep and Chevy and Cadillac have another re-call. Half the u-tubers who buy Lamborghini & Porsche and Mercedes and Corvette and Tesla are dumping them because of price drops. Not a good investment if they like loosing money
Most of those You Tubers are spending money they have no plans on re paying. They milk everything on credit and claim bankruptcy when they can't run and hide anymore.
PLELASE STOP!! Our local Nissan dealer will not budge on pricing for a Versa. They keep telling me that their pricing is the best around and that's pure BS. IF they took 5 minutes on line they would see much better deals. The problem is that they have a somewhat captive audience in central WI. Screw them: I will start looking in the Twin Cities.
Buy used and get the extended warranty. The warranty will pay for itself, and you won't be the one taking the depreciation hit by driving it off the dealer lot.
Extended Warranties are actually extended service plans. They are a total ripoff. On average they pay out ten percent of premiums. Most things that break aren’t even covered like wipers, batteries, light bulbs, oil, filters, wipers, body parts, glass, wheels, tires, gaskets, rodent damage, hail damage, collision damage, interior parts, etc. Anyone that buys one didn’t read the fine print. They won’t cover an engine, transmission, or other drive component if you ever broke the speed limit or missed scheduled maintenance.
Virtually every legitimate consumer advisor strongly recommends against an Extended Service Contract (they are not warrantees). All ESCs from a third party have exclusions concocted by lawyers to limit actual payouts. The fact is the vast majority of ESCs do not pay for themselves.
This has a hit New York just yet. On the contrary, Lee steals are probably one of the highest still. Especially for a premium car. If anything, it’s Hondas and Toyotas that have been holding value much better. Also, Honda just dropped that bomb about their faulty engine and transmissions from 2016 all the way up to 2022. But BMW Mercedes-Benz Audi the prices are still really high lease deals are not even deals. We’re talking about 1700 $2000 for lease on the X5 and that’s what the new winter sales event.
Debt to income ratio for a car loan should not exceed 10 to 15% of your income. Just because someone may give your more, doesn't mean you need to take it. When buying a car, emotions should never come in to play. Get something you can afford. It is that easy.
I went over 30 years buying beaters, never paying more than $400. When my motorcycle collection required travel I bought a new van to transport motorcycles. First and last time buying new. I just paid my last payment in August. Never again!
Amazing. Look at used car prices in UK as well. World Wide issue. Think I might get away with never having to buy an EV... So many great used cars out there.... If you want one to last a life time buy a Toyota... if you want some fun buy a German or UK car... or of course something from Italy.
Those EV mandates will never stick. The government can try as hard as they want but people don't want them. They need to quit jamming shit down peoples throats or they will get voted out of office.
I'm not buying. I bought my Toyota Tacoma in 2012 and it's still serving my needs. I have no need for a car payment, especially now that im ratcheting up my mortgage payment to get rid of that
Yea dude spends 100 grand like it’s a coffee at Starbucks. Your crystal ball needs new batteries cause normal people aren’t cruising the lambo auction lot looking for deals.
Running out of ideas for your videos there bud… Was a dealer for over 20 years and I can confirm that when new car stores were not getting enough trade ins to bring to the auction, car prices in the used market continued to go higher. Higher end vehicles may take a hit, but the average everyday cars hold value, and or continue higher.
I just buy old junk fix them and drive them. Bought a 1990 Silverado 15 years and when it started to become pretty sketchy 4 years ago i bought basically the identical truck but a bit nicer. Simple and reliable and when the rusty truck folds in half i have a good parts truck for my nicer truck
oh come on. people signed and paid market adjustment. no one put a gun to their head. if a customer wants to pay over market and get a loan and sign a loan over market well the customer signed it. it’s on him or her.
Ferraris McLarens and Rolls rotting in the weather? That should tell you something. Do you really want a car that has been rotting in the elements for a year?
Very interesting watching this in England where cars are ridiculously overpriced and so many people are now keeping cars for over ten years or buying much older models ! No one in my street yet has an EV so what does that say ?
Even with discounts, dealerships are nothing more than rip-off machines. I'll never buy a new car again. The idiot who bought the Range Rover over sticker because he "had to have it", and then sold it to you, saw what happens when you decide to throw away your money.
I've been watching this and have been saying the samething---wanted a Telluride $8,000.00 over MSRP😅😅😅😅 . I used to work for OEM provider--employee pricing on new cars. Repos are worth looking at
Why even bring up low $ leases. Why couldn't someone just advertise $50/month? The catch is the up front cost would be so high. Lease prices are worthless without stating up front cost.
The dealers, they themselves stated and inituatated all theses problems with their greed. Now it's turning around and biting them in the ass. I don't feel sorry for them.
Get a used car, Toyota, Honda or Mitsubishi (the interior isn’t bells and whistles but the engines run awesome) without a turbo engine. My 2008 lancer got to 300k miles, still ran but needed a new transmission. Never get a used European/luxury car…
@6:00... New car dealers are still being sleazy. They advertise $15k off MSRP, but only if you pay for $5k is BS Accessories. Oh and don't for get the $1k Doc fees in FL.

One of the real exception is the RAV 4 Prime. Local dealer has none and only sells them when ordered.....
Thanks for your videos and opinion on car market, helps a lot to understand the current state
They need to quit jamming shit down peoples throats or they will get voted out of office.
in central louisiana still asking crazy high interest rates. It's good to see stuff dropping over there. It will eventually make it here.
Why are you assuming the dealerships never sell trade ins, only sending them to auction?
They keep all of the desirable trades!
How many of these cars are hurricane flood damaged? Where in Florida are you?
WHERE'S THE VIDEO ON THE OUTCOME OF THE OVERHEATING YELLOW FERRARI??? $60K?? YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR !!LOL😢
Serious question: If wages don't go up in buying power, do you think the auto industry will massively shrink?
I'm not buying. I bought my Toyota Tacoma in 2012 and it's still serving my needs. I have no need for a car payment, especially now that im ratcheting up my mortgage payment to get rid of that
Yea dude spends 100 grand like it’s a coffee at Starbucks. Your crystal ball needs new batteries cause normal people aren’t cruising the lambo auction lot looking for deals.
So true!
Running out of ideas for your videos there bud…
Was a dealer for over 20 years and I can confirm that when new car stores were not getting enough trade ins to bring to the auction, car prices in the used market continued to go higher.
Of course he does, especially if it's a Uris.
Very interesting watching this in England where cars are ridiculously overpriced and so many people are now keeping cars for over ten years or buying much older models ! No one in my street yet has an EV so what does that say ?
The people of the street on which U live is of a lower socioeconomic level?
Even if those high end cars are cheaper, the maintenance price alone, makes them unaffordable.
Unless the owner has multiple streams of income.
Even with discounts, dealerships are nothing more than rip-off machines. I'll never buy a new car again. The idiot who bought the Range Rover over sticker because he "had to have it", and then sold it to you, saw what happens when you decide to throw away your money.
Great advice and thanks for the video Craig ✊💎
I've been watching this and have been saying the samething---wanted a Telluride $8,000.00 over MSRP😅😅😅😅 . I used to work for OEM provider--employee pricing on new cars. Repos are worth looking at
Why even bring up low $ leases. Why couldn't someone just advertise $50/month? The catch is the up front cost would be so high. Lease prices are worthless without stating up front cost.
Someday there won't be dealers. You will order a car online and the car will come to you on a semi trailer, same for tractors
The dealers, they themselves stated and inituatated all theses problems with their greed. Now it's turning around and biting them in the ass. I don't feel sorry for them.
I got ripped off on the market adjustment about 2 years ago. I'll probably be upside down for a couple more years.
Get a used car, Toyota, Honda or Mitsubishi (the interior isn’t bells and whistles but the engines run awesome) without a turbo engine. My 2008 lancer got to 300k miles, still ran but needed a new transmission. Never get a used European/luxury car…
I think you are usually a guy who says the sky is falling. Today your video is correct I'm seeing in the Pacific Northwest. SEATTLE, WA
Is this guy even in the Car business? Prices drop every year at this time, oh wait he needs content.
Quick question any pointers on buying cars online using your dealers license, I'm about to start the process?
A Wrangler at $15000 discount really still $20000 too much just stupid if people needed a car to buy one rather than wanting a new car is just dumb.
More easy money flipping Audi Evs and Cybertrucks
Craig wouldn't have it any other way. It's the Crystal ball, ya know?
Driving a 100,00.00 Cyber Truck and is giving us advise about price for cars🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 upside down world
Just swooped up a 04 suburban z71 for $3500. 🎉
@6:00... New car dealers are still being sleazy. They advertise $15k off MSRP, but only if you pay for $5k is BS Accessories. Oh and don't for get the $1k Doc fees in FL.
I was/am trying to negotiate a deal on a Mach E, dealer with $1000 doc fee, told to go pound sand.
Another reason why I lease… Use it for 2 or 3 years and return the vehicle😊😊😊
I just checked out an advertised Ranger Rover SV online at a dealership in Norwood, MA...MSRP..$270,145, LMAO.
Boat anchor.
This appears to be a quick video during a Chick Fil a Run........ great job multi tasking..... now you see why used cars are dropping in price too. trade in values have tanked....
Hoping prices drop looking for a first car for my kid he wants a second gen Eclipse, few on the market with lower miles but dealers not ready to work price yet…
Car market on exotic cars have always been volatile. If you are dumb enough to play in this market, you deserve the loss.
I started out watching when you had a dealership. Now it's all Florida BS.
Craig mentions Florida every video😂😂😂😂
He's lost his way. So inconsistent. Zero value videos.
And??
He thinks he's an influencer. That TV show he was on made him catch the "Hollywood Syndrome." Still, his channel makes me laugh. It's better than "Saturday Night Live" for belly shaking laughter. This guy invents new ways to lose money. I think his "crystal ball" is shattered. LOL!
it would sux to be the ones buying that Teslas 140k 2 years ago and now they are getting 40k, a 100k loss with only few thousands miles of use.
And all those 14-20 thousand dollars off still doesn't put that vehicle at its true selling price.
$15K off? I bought a brand new fully loaded 2000 Chevy Silverado 4x4 for $20k. Vehicle prices are way too high.
Yes advice from you ? You buy the worst cars
So how much off should I expect on a new AWD Sprinter Van if msrp is $70K ?
Welcome to the unafforbability problem! It's only been a problem for 3 years, & there are no signs the problems are going to abate any time soon.
great stuff thanks
Greedy ass dealers priced themselves out of customers... Then they will ask for government bailouts👎
And get them. No way will the Government let them fail. It's all because of the EV BS and building an inferior product.
Catch a falling knife, that's a reflection of the economy. Toys are expendable when money gets tight.
Are you not driving a truck that lost over 50,000
My coworker payed $90k for 2024 Chevy Tahoe. It's diesel but still. It's Chevy not even Cadillac
There are too many car dealers new and used .of course, some are going out of business .
Lease, no need to worry about depreciation. Doing it for 30 years, drive and return.
wasted money, buy a bicycle. And yes, I still ride a 1996 Trek 930 Single track. So 28 years without a car payment. Or useless insurance.
That's a great way to build up equity.
