Walking in Mandeville town Jamaica 2021, Mandeville is the capital and largest town in the parish of Manchester in the county of Middlesex, Jamaica. In 2005, the town had an estimated population of 50,000, and including the immediate suburbs within a radius of 16 km (9.9 mi) the total population was about 72,000. It is located on an inland plateau at an altitude of 628 m (2061 feet), and is 103 km (64 mi) west of Kingston. It is the only parish capital of Jamaica not located on the coast or on a major river.

I was born in Mandeville. My grandfather founded Hood-Daniel Well Co. which is just outside the town center. Love that area. My great grandfather is buried at the Church grounds at the center of the town.

When I moved to Santa Cruz from America , I would take taxi to Mandeville when I got home sick. I spent plenty time in the Internet cafe, Mother’s, and the movie theatre ( closed now) I love this place ❤️

I left my Mother in Clarendon to stay one night in Mandeville before going to Mo'bay the next day. That was the last time I saw my Mother alive. Mandeville will always be in my memory.

18 thousand feet above sea level,thats answers for why so cold,as kids we use to getup early morning pick fresh fruits off the trees in your yard and fruits are ice cold early morning,everything including environment change,nature does that so not sure if it still get that cold

I have not seen main street or Hargreaves hospital, police station. Also, I have not seen the taxi stand, Inside the market. Anyway I used to live on Bonito Crescent when I was attending Manchester High School. it was nice to see Mandivelle again. It brought back a lot of memories. Thank you.

I am blown away by the sheer number of people with their phones carelessly in their hands, and the many staring at it as they walk, knowing that our country has so many crooks seeking an opportunity to grab it. I will never allow my phone to dictate to me. It stays in my bag when I'm out in public like that. When will we learn to pay full attention to our surroundings and not take things for granted!💛
I wouldn't say careless. They probably don't have common occurrences of phone grabbers. I think it was so refreshing to see. It's the same culture in Port Antonio. People stroll around with their phones in their hands and back pockets
Some Jamaicans stare a lot so maybe they not eyeing the phone. I was more careful with my phone in Europe than in Mandeville.
Talk truth, people are so negative, they behaving like no good people live in Jamaica, remember that the bad ones are the minority,so be positive to much negativity.
In New York the majority of people have their phones out, and have their heads, eyes and minds buried in them. Especially on the Subways.
You won't make your phone dictate you, but you'll make men dictate you most places people arent gonna just grab you phone
