    I have a question, in the example ごじまでここでまっています we are talking about the future, so why are we using てけい for まって?

    Sensei, sumimasen, I have a question. I saw this question in a textbook
    次の会議 [______] この資料を読まなければなりません。
    The answer is "まで" but I think "までに" is also suitable in this context, right? Like "I have to read this document by next meeting". Is my thinking correct? Thank you in advance.

      You are right 👍I’m glad you asked me because the only right answer is までに( by tomorrow)

    I've heard people say 疲れた!instead of 疲れていました in home environment. Are both forms common in daily life?

    • @japanesewithlily
      @japanesewithlily  Год назад +2

      Both are correct but there’s a slight difference in meaning. When you say疲れた! It means I’m tired now
      疲れていました means I was tired ( before)
