Thanks a lot for another great video Lily 😊 I have a question, in the example ごじまでここでまっています we are talking about the future, so why are we using てけい for まって?
@@japanesewithlily I thought the てけい was used to describe something that is happening in the ongoing present, shouldn't 待っていますmean "I'm waiting for you"?
Sensei, sumimasen, I have a question. I saw this question in a textbook 次の会議 [______] この資料を読まなければなりません。 The answer is "まで" but I think "までに" is also suitable in this context, right? Like "I have to read this document by next meeting". Is my thinking correct? Thank you in advance.

待っています means I will be waiting for you
待ちますmeans I will wait for you
@@japanesewithlily I thought the てけい was used to describe something that is happening in the ongoing present, shouldn't 待っていますmean "I'm waiting for you"?
Ir can mean both , depending on a sentence 😘
@@japanesewithlily Thank you so much! 😊
Do you you think you will develop a video about 間/間に that a I still need practice on.

次の会議 [______] この資料を読まなければなりません。
The answer is "まで" but I think "までに" is also suitable in this context, right? Like "I have to read this document by next meeting". Is my thinking correct? Thank you in advance.
You are right 👍I’m glad you asked me because the only right answer is までに( by tomorrow)
I've heard people say 疲れた!instead of 疲れていました in home environment. Are both forms common in daily life?
Both are correct but there’s a slight difference in meaning. When you say疲れた! It means I’m tired now
疲れていました means I was tired ( before)
@@japanesewithlilyOh really? It's like "I'm tired" and "I had been tired (at some time in the past)"?
Yes,that’s right👍
Can I put "新幹線で" at first?
Like I mean, 新幹線で東京から大坂まで三時間位かかります。 Pls tell me!!
Yes of course you can 👍In this case you are emphasizing 新幹線で😊
@@japanesewithlily 本当にありがとうございました💕💕
