I saw Tomahawk open for Tool back in 2002 in Richmond. Twas quite amazing. Mike Patton also has done some voice-over work too. He played the voice of a demon inside of the lead character in a video game called The Darkness. He's growling and screaming the whole time. It's amazing he can still talk let alone sing.
Ok, here's 2 to react to from Mike Patton that are at the opposite ends of the spectrum..1: mondo Cane "Storia DAmore" 2: Mr bungle (with Scott Ian from.Anthrax, Dave Lombardo from Slayer) "Raping your Mind"
I have never missed a Mike Patton show since 1991, MR.BUNGLE, Fantomas, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom, Faith No More, when he comes to town I'm there, no matter what. He is the most underrated vocalist and performer ever!
I consider myself super lucky to have seen FNM many times and have met Mike in Glasgow in 1989 after seeing them live. Some of the band showed up at a club after their show. I just had to go over and say hi. He's a really nice guy. He signed my arm which i then got tattooed the next day. I still wear it with pride.
There is a live version of this song with a full choir on RUclips and obviously it’s brilliant, but some of the best live versions of this song are from 95/97 when they was a lot younger and Patton was even more on form as a frontman.
I met Jens Kidman from Meshuggah years ago, I was talking to him about musical influences, he said they’re Huge Faith fans, we were talking about how much of a monster Mike is on Cuckoo for Caca, would love to see you guys react to that, cheers🍻
I agree with what everybody already said… and I’ve seen Mr. Patton roll around in a plastic bag on stage, as I’ve mentioned before. So I’m just gonna say, I like how you sang your last name Smokey 😆😊
Dude…. Lovage! Seriously. Don’t miss out on this album from Patton and Mix Master Mike if I remember correctly. And the singer from Elysian Fields. Bad ass album. I have introduced this album to many and have always received rave reviews.
If you get the chance explore some of their 1986 / 1987 stuff off of 'We Care A Lot' and 'Introduce Yourself'. They had a different singer but still some really solid tunes. Three I'd recommend off of Introduce Yourself - Faster Disco (Lost Boys style theme with lyrics about vampires), Chinese Arithmetic, R&R and Crab Song. Crab Song especially is a really interesting ballad with an epic intro. Also if you've ever watched 'Dirty Jobs' with Mike Row you've heard the chorus from 'We Care A Lot' - "Oh it's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it'? That's Chuck Mosley singing.
I think you guys would LOVE the song Dance Commander by Electric Six. The video is hilarious and rad, and the song is just straight fun. Probably not the best for a reaction though, it's like 2 minutes :D Watch it on your own time, you'll have a good 2 minutes.
There's a pro-shot video from a few years back with a full choir behind them. Whoever sent this link dropped the ball. You guys would lose it if you saw that performance. I know you're not gonna do a 3rd reaction but you should definitely check it out. It's straight fire!
Best Patton projects imho (apart from Bungle and FNM): Fantomas Tomahawk Lovage Peeping Tom Irony is a Dead Scene ep w/ Dillinger Escape Plan Mondo Cane
If Thomas loves FNM I love Thomas !!! Man, there are too many good songs by them to request . Ugly in the Morning is a quirky one ! LOL . But Caffeine , Falling to Pieces , King for a Day , RV , and Digging a Grave are songs that are just the tip of the iceberg off the top of head . This band needs full discography treatment !!!!
Patton is usually great but he sometimes struggles with those low notes in the verse live on this song and Ashes to Ashes. Which is also a great song btw..
You claimed: 'he sometimes struggles with those low notes in the verse live on this song...'. Could you explain that, please? That lowest note 12:30 might even be lower than a D1!! But if you make a serious point I will be very grateful: I love to be corrected and learning. Thanks, tom - p.s. Not those low notes at the beginning of this song: You can see and hear that the volume of that mic was not loud enough.
He sings so perfect and effortlessly that he gets bored and just goofs off with his voice sometimes . Like sticking the mic in his mouth and often singing songs in odd voices .
My first Metallica concert 90 for the and justice for all tour. Faith, no more was with them, but they got booed off the stage like after the second song. All you could hear was the crowd. Chanting Metallica metallica over the Band 😂
Mike Patton will forever be one of my favourite vocalists!
Mike Patton can speak fluent Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian.
He's speaking portuguese. That's in Lisbon, Portugal and i was there ❤️
Legend. National treasure. Immeasurable talent with personality
Mr. Bungle helped me through my teenage years and beyond
Please more Mike Patton. He has so much variety.
Mike patton es el puto amo

I have never missed a Mike Patton show since 1991, MR.BUNGLE, Fantomas, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom, Faith No More, when he comes to town I'm there, no matter what. He is the most underrated vocalist and performer ever!
Can’t go wrong with Faith No More, Mike Patton is so incredibly talented, Falling to Pieces is definitely worth a reaction, great vocals on that one
Great review as always guys! Love when he f’s around. Saw Tomohawk open for Tool in ‘94 and it seriously blew my mind!!
I bet a lot of the rock and metal bands we have in modern day grew up listening to Fath No More.😊❤
I consider myself super lucky to have seen FNM many times and have met Mike in Glasgow in 1989 after seeing them live. Some of the band showed up at a club after their show. I just had to go over and say hi. He's a really nice guy. He signed my arm which i then got tattooed the next day. I still wear it with pride.
I have been lucky enough to see Mike Patton in 3 different bands. All of them so different, but all so brilliant.
Im from Portugal! love faith no more and its incredible you guys did a react to a concert in my country🙌
There is a live version of this song with a full choir on RUclips and obviously it’s brilliant, but some of the best live versions of this song are from 95/97 when they was a lot younger and Patton was even more on form as a frontman.
Love the reaction as always, fellas!!
@13:39 Mike says "Muito obrigado", which is portuguese for "Thank you very much". Definitely not gibberish! 🤣🤣
Came back just to comment again. Fantomas!
I met Jens Kidman from Meshuggah years ago, I was talking to him about musical influences, he said they’re Huge Faith fans, we were talking about how much of a monster Mike is on Cuckoo for Caca, would love to see you guys react to that, cheers🍻
All Mike Patton's bands are fire.
Dead Cross is great! It's Mike Patton and Dave Lonbardo of Slayer it's heavy...
Tomahawk - 101 North
Peeping Tom - We're not alone (In my top5 Mike Patton songs, FNM included)
Thanks for giving Mike his props, y'all! He so deserves every bit.
To see a great live version WITH a choir check out this other version (and better, in my opinion)
ruclips.net/video/zenjmIGrcdc/видео.html
Anotber great vocalist is Daniel Gildenlow from Pain of Salvation...check out On A Tuesday
the best way I've ever heard it explained is "nobody does parting of the clouds like Faith No More".
Merci !
Mike Patton is one of the best vocalists of '90s rock music!!!!
You spelled of All-Time wrong
One of the greatest frontmen ever! ❤️🇦🇺
Peeping Tom- we're not alone- Henry Rollins live performance!!!!

Hail from normandy :]

The choir video is a terrible example. Patton was out of his prime by that year
🖤🎼
Listen to RV from the Angel Dust album
Definitely one FNM greatest songs. They got a lot though. Mike is an absolute weapon with every project he embarks on! ❤️🇦🇺
Fantomas.
Best Patton projects imho (apart from Bungle and FNM):
Fantomas
Tomahawk
Lovage
Peeping Tom
Irony is a Dead Scene ep w/ Dillinger Escape Plan

Mike still rule$!
And never took a singing lesson in his life
Not quite true, he did about half an hour to satisfy the label then the coach got handsy and Mike got outta there.
Peeping Tom is killer
