- What to do if your hypotheses are not supported - ResearchBeast
Sometimes researchers face a situation where there hypotheses are ot supported. It can be quite a daunting time because of stigmas attached to this situation. In this video, I answer this question. I also talked to Dr. Katerina Berezina on what does she suggest in this situation.
Enjoy the video.

Thank you for this great video. My 2.5 years of Master's research also did not support any of my hypotheses and objectives and I am so worried about what to tell in my defense. This video helped me a lot. You are not alone. I faced the same situtation.
Thank you. Please help me sharing it further
Thank you so much. I really needed to hear this, I hope i can manage to defend my thesis and will be able to get my degree.
Thank you, I feel very enlightened after finding out most of my hypotheses were not supported. This lifts me up a lot. Thanks so much!

Thank you very much for this. Really needed to hear this because this is happening to me. I guess the best way is to report the findings and make suggestion to explore to add new variables in the study. Hopefully my supervisor agrees.
Great. Yes, that is exactly what you need to do. Good luck. Also please help me sharing it further
Thank you so much sir for this great information, this help me a lot for my thesis
Sir great insight for student specially from countries where it is expected that research only aims to prove the hypotheses
Thank you. Please help me by sharing it further

What to do if my hypothesis shows insignificant values ( value much above 0.05 significance level) and the data are real life scenarios which can't be changed?
Well you explained in a nice manner but don’t you think these issue should be solved or highlighted by pilot runs?
Thank you. Yes they can be but it depends on your field of research
I have 7 hypothesis in my research only the main hypothesis is not supported. All others do. What can I do?
