Pause it at 8:25. Each man is about equal distance from the camera. Mike is like 250, thor is 400's. Thor is another species of man, plain and simple. You are looking at a large guy next to a giant. The funny thing about these giant guys are, is that they really don't take it as serious as some of these smaller guys with something to prove, they do not have the same motivation and heart put into it ( not that they do not put in work).. Thor is only 30 in this video, and if you look at his body and vascularity, it doesn’t even seem like he does any sort of anabolic drug; His muscle's do not even look hard and locked up, like mike had mentioned... Yes, I know his body fat is a bit high, which might make his muscles look a little softer, but I think if he cut, his muscles still would not be as bulging and as hard as some of these body-builders muscles. It's like putting a steroided pony next to a shire horse -- No matter how much muscle you put on the pony, it will not meet the mere natural strength and size the of horse.
So Mike wants to show everybody that he's at least as strong as the world strongest man by introducing him to workouts nobody does, except him, with the sole purpose to look good besides Thor , aight
Offcourse Mike is gonna look strong, he takes outside athletes into his routine and training style, if Thor was to take Mike into his routine the difference in Strenght would show immensely, but still good effort from Mike 😂
I don't think that was the point, even for a new exercise he already knew thor was going to be stronger at it. It was all just good natured money making. Mike is crazy basic and uninteresting, but he's not that big of a dick
I've seen mike do a routine with Matt Wenning, at Wenning's gym benching with bands for reps (an exercise done by power lifters) and Mike did more reps than Matt Wenning a former world record holder in powerlifting. So Mike has gone out of his element and done well.
