New Spray Coating Analysis for Process Manufacturing using Altair® EDEM™ 2022.3

Altair® EDEM™ software is revolutionizing the process manufacturing industry by enabling scientists, researchers, and engineers to optimize processes involving bulk solids such as powder mixing, tablet coating, milling, and drying.
With the release of EDEM 2022.3, a new spray coating analysis tool has been added to the #EDEM Analyst for #pharmaceutical application. In addition to the tablet coating features already available; this new post-processing technique uses intra-tablet coating variability analysis to determine the coating thickness of a tablet’s surface and predict the coating uniformity for polyhedral shapes.
