- How this man saved 200,000 lives. An amazing story of courage and resilience. Before he was a UBC professor, Rudolf Vrba did the impossible: he escaped Auschwitz and told the world what was happening. His actions changed the world.

Well, I just got a bit of an education. I'm a British Columbian and I've never heard of Rudolf. There is a massive Wiki page devoted to him and I'm going to check it out some more. I don't get this at all. I pride myself in having pretty good knowledge of BC and the history but not this time. Thanks, Jean. Another informative video.
Thank you for honouring Rudolf with your interest Mo. 👍👍
I understand why you are doing this. However, you must understand that with the sharp rise of anti-Semitism in Vancouver, advertising the location of Dr. Vrba's grave is not a great idea. He actually wanted oblivion. He did not want to be buried somewhere public. You have gone against his express wishes and those of his wife. I wish you would take this down.
How did you come across the Doctor’s burial wishes? Just curious.
Educating the people who didn’t know about the doctor is a superior way of dealing with hatred than living in fear and anonymity.
@@TheAxis1968 I would love to believe this, however, if you check out anti-Semitism in Vancouver, you will understand that it is not just my opinion. Sadly.
