How do you edit the link hover styles for the Mega Menu? I see options to style the hover background color and text colors for the regular sub-menus, but I don't see an option to style link hovers for the Mega Menu. Can you please advise as to how we can do this? Thanks.
It's completely up to you what you add to your Mega Menus. This is just an example. Check out the University Prebuilt Site. It has some more complex ones.
I think using widget areas for the mega menus really over complicates things. This would be great to build in the avada live builder and the global layouts.

Can I create a Mega Menu as a fullpage menu (would be a Flyout Mega Menu then I guess) ... just as the Standard Flyout Menu option with transparency option for the background color? The reason is, I would like to set social media menu links as icons side by side in a flyout menu but I cannot find any documentation or video about this specific menu style .... any support appreciated. Thank you!!

7.1 was released two and a half years ago! You really should keep Avada up to date, both for security and for the latest features.
