An edit of Daphne Bridgerton. To be clear I am super angry at the nonconsensual scene in episode 6 where Daphne takes away Simon's consent, and I really hope they address it next season. But I'm also of the philosophy that while it's super important to be critical of shows you watch you can still consume and enjoy them. So I still made this fanvid, as it was super fun to make and I wanted to explore the sexism the show depicts, even though I think Daphne as a character is not redeemeable.

the edit is really good, but (in my opinion) i think the song don't match with Daphne..Eloise is made for this song.

Thanks! I agree that Eloise is a more obvious fit for the song as she blatantly rejects beauty norms and the world of suitors. But she's harder to edit to than Daphne though as most clips of Eloise are of her talking which doesn't look good visually. I choose Daphne because I really wanted to do an edit of her, and because I thought there were subtle ways she broke from convention even while still fitting in with the norm
