On Cloudrunner 2 First Impressions

The new On Cloudrunner 2 has seen a couple of nice upgrades from the On Cloudrunner 1 including a new softer/lighter midsole and no speedboard. Overall, the Cloudrunner 2 fits into the daily trainer category and is best suited for easy road runs of short to medium distances. The Cloudrunner 2 also features mild stability for those of you that are looking for a bit more support.

Hello, I m deciding between Cloudeclipse and Clouderunner 2? Which one you think is better for road? I have a problem with Hoka shoes, knees pain.

The strong rocker in the Eclipse may flare knee pain. I’d recommend the Cloudrunner 2.

I tried basically all the on shoes and I deal with knee pain. Cloud runner was the only shoe I like for softness and stability. I loved the surfer even more but it was way to bouncy that I was tilting all over the place and possibly falling, not stable at all. All the other shoes were hard almost like walking in cleats

Thank you for the review! I would like to ask if it is a good one to protect over and under pronation? I am asking because i sprained my ankle using a shoe (Nike Air Bliss) when i stepped on an uneven road.

@@jedilady4485 it's a neutral support shoe but because of the extra wide base, it is quite supportive.

I have overpronation, and I'm not sure which shoes to pick: Arahi7 or Cloudrunner2 ?

Sorry for the late reply, I would go with the Arahi if you know that you need more support. Cloudrunner is a stable shoe, but ultimately it's still a neutral shoe. The Arahi is a stability shoe and provides much more support for overpronation than the Cloudrunner.

Not a cloudsurfer7 nor Monster Hyper . Don’t expect much tbh .
