Sterling Winery had been closed a couple of years for renovations and a big fire. The Gondola is brand new from the old version. Looks very modern and sleek.
Yes, they did an amazing job rebuilding after the fire. Very inspiring. They actually show a video of the rebuilding process during the self-guided tour. Definitely worth a visit. Thanks for watching!
@@New2Napa Thanks for the info. Yes Sterling is my favorite winery in the valley. I've taken out of town friends and relatives in the past. And they absolutely loved it.
Hi. No, you need to book a wine experience to ride the gondola. If someone in your party books a wine experience, the second person can be a non-taster and ride the gondola for $25. That’s the current policy, but you can check the website for the latest info. Thanks for watching!
Thanks, Ashley! Yes! We’ve gotten the Calistoga Winter Passports two years in a row. It’s a fantastic way to see so many amazing wineries for one flat rate. Have you used it before? What’s your favorite?
@@New2Napa Yes, we have it for this year. I just posted our vlog and then got a suggestion for your vlog. We've had the St Helena one in the past. It's a great value for those looking to try a bunch of new places! We enjoyed the Calistoga one this year, it was a great value for our visit!
Great video. The play-by-play was helpful. Thanks for all of the tips!
Thank you! We’re glad it was helpful!

@dfa3366 Great pick! It’s a crowd-pleaser, for sure.
Hi! Can we just go there to for a gondola experience without purchasing wine tour? TIA

They do have non alcoholic beverages if you choose. At least in the past they did.
Your quest sounds amazing! Did y'all get one of the winter passports, it might help with the costs?

Oh awesome! I’ll check out your vlog! We haven’t tried the St. Helena passport yet, but it’s been on our radar. Thanks again for watching!
