Mysterious Disk of Blue Stars Around Andromeda's Black Hole - Hubble Space Telescope

  • A zoom diving deep into the nucleus of the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) then dissolving into an animation of a concentration of red stars.
Pushing deeper into the animation reveals a disk of young blue stars swirling around a black hole. Hubble's Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph (STIS) revealed this disk of young blue stars that were swirling around a black hole in M31 in much the same way that the planets in our solar system revolve around the Sun.
Astronomers are perplexed about how the pancake-shaped disk of stars could form so close to a giant black hole. In such a hostile environment, the black hole's tidal forces should tear matter apart, making it difficult for gas and dust to collapse and form stars. The observations, astronomers say, may provide clues to the activities in the cores of more distant galaxies.

The telescopes can zoom in that far, however the imaging does not look clear and takes a ton of storage to hold. So what NASA does in order to let us see what it would look like is generate it into an animation, and use their understanding of mass and velocity to simulate their movement.

I was watching a show recently where the astronomer said that there are as many stars as there are grains of sand on every beach on earth. That’s incredible to think about. How do we grasp how big and seemingly infinite that is. Especially considering the galaxies and universes are still forming and that in many cases we are just seeing the very beginning of their existences.

Al-Qur’an ternyata sudah sejak lama menyebutkan tentang keberadaan lubang hitam.

But at least we get our money’s worth. It may cost a couple billion a year to run, but my God!! The results are undeniable!! Truly breath taking!! Like literally breath taking I mean. Like ppl that built and fought for this country are dying every day from 100% preventable causes. They could buy a home for every single homeless veteran in America with just one year’s worth of the NASA budget. Are you grasping this? Literally trillions of dollars has been given to them and we get what exactly? The one thing that you could possibly point to as being significant never even happened. Trillions, and all we got was an insanely high budget movie series with shitty actors, shitty directors, and one big shit bag production team. End homelessness for the guys that made all of this possible, or lie your ass off about a subject that the common folk could not easily disprove. The indoctrination is powerful. That is why it’s different than the Santa situation. As children grow up, they know Santa can’t be real because that story doesn’t mesh with the observable reality we are in. The NASA lie was much more sophisticated. They are organized and we are gullible. The beast system is already in place, and it has been in place a long time I think.

Digo.

Yes, this video is CGI. But astronomer knew about strange blue haze observed by Hubble since 1995. After recent spectrographic research , it's been established that ring of blue giants developed in this area. Probably after a big amount of interstellar gas closed up to black hole and created disk like nebula.

    • @WonneKroes
      @WonneKroes Месяц назад +6

Actually stars do have different colors for real. White dwarfs, blue giants, red supergiants, the latter even recognizable as red with the naked eye from earth: upper left star in Orion constellation is a red supergiant.
As to colors in space pictures in general: those can certainly be enhanced or even manipulated to be "false colors" to help identify and recognize various chemical materials which do reflect light at different wavelengths.
Long time exposures, even when unmanipulated, do show different colors of materials/dust/gases.
I once saw our own Milky Way from a secluded, dark spot on the Greek island of Crete before it became a more popular tourist attraction, and it was amazing including visible colors.

I’m telling you there are some of the best shots. I’ve been looking at Hubble shots for a long time and oh my goodness space is breathtaking.

I agree that space is breathtaking. What I find really incredible is using a 6” telescope with a good glass solar filter and a 25 power eyepiece, and putting the Sun in the center of the field, and watch a Star, a boiling globe of fire floating in the inky blackness of space, only 9 light minutes away from us.
What I find even more breathtaking than that, is someone telling me God doesn’t exist.

No spectrum of light can leave once past the event horizon. Think of x and y axis on a graph chart. X is the singularly. Y is outside the event horizon. The two can never interact again. Time barrier. There could be a universe obliterating explosion just beyond.. But since time slows to a stop trying to move faster than light we'll never see it
