I can't have children sadly, but I still watch your blogs, they are so lovely, good luck with your c section, I was a c section premee (weighed only 1 pound 10).
Would love it if you did a before and after// of what you bought now and what you use I love this so much and not like I'm pregnant but I just love babies I work in a baby room at work and it is so sweet
Hiya, just want to let you know this is very helpful. I’m 6 weeks behind you (28 weeks) with twin girls too, so I love watching your hauls and preparation vids, best wishes towards a healthy delivery x
I’m new here & happy to have found you through SJ. You’re so lovely and soothing to watch. I wish you the absolute best in the birth of your twins. Cannot wait for the names! 💛
Love this Lucy. Most realistic hospital bag video I’ve seen in a long time... love that you have gone for comfies to leave the hospital, just how I felt after having my first by c section and will be packing the same again this time for my current pregnancy. Can’t wait to see your journey with the twins and your lovely boys ❤️
This was really helpful. I’m currently 29 weeks pregnant with twins and felt overwhelmed at the thought of packing hospital bags! Please do a video on all the things you’ve purchased. That would be great. Love your videos as always. X
Wow its come round so fast you packing your hospital bag, I love all your baby clothes. Girls have so much more choice. I remember packing my hospital bag for my twins and I had a huge suitcase plus a small bag, I packed a weeks worth of clothes haha I only stayed for 2 nights. I breastfed my twins for 14 months and have 3 other children too so it is possible to breastfeed twins. I even pumped milk for them while I went to college to study childcare so felt like a milking cow at times lol so worth it though. Just go with the flow of things once the girls are here your a fab mummy so it will all come together
That’s brilliant. I don’t know how mums of twins breastfeed both twins. I have a newborn and toddler and I’m finding the ‘on demand breastfeeding’ so hard x
@@mad4raisins it was actually quite easy once you got the hang of it. I had the bigger of my twins feeding on my left and him leaning on my tummy then I placed the smaller twin on the bigger twin and he leaned more on my right side. I needed to have a few pillows around me at first so I needed to be comfy and I used a very sturdy feeding pillow. Once you get the hang of it I fed them both while out and about, I never bought any maternity clothes I just wore 2 tops, mostly vest tops and lifted the top one up to feed each baby. As they got older they could sit up and sit on each of my knees so it was like they had a boob each haha. They also had their own boob for the first 6 months and would only want from their chosen side but they just had anything that was going after then. For the first 6 months the did everything in sync from popping, weeing, napping but then they developed their own routine so it was nice to have one baby to cuddle and feed then feed the other baby and have one to one with. I still can't believe I have twins now and they're 2 very energetic growing boys.
I'm 38 weeks pregnant as well and I just packed my bag and posted my "what's in my hospital bag" today too! (it's my second baby too so I learned a lot my first time!) I totally agree to bring soft socks and slippers!
Aww your looking gorgeous hun! I cannot wait to find out your baby names! Your baby girls will be gorgeous love all the baby clothes so classy...exciting times! 💕 xxxxx
Hey Lucy Thankyou so much for sharing this with us not long now and we'll get to meet your precious twin girls how exciting💕💕. I definitely can't wait to see your nursery tour video and yes please would love to see all of the items that Jordan and you have got for the girls 🥰🥰😘😘
I thought this exact same thing! Like wouldn’t you have 12 or 14, not 13 baby grows especially for twins 🤣 this helps me be a bit more prepared but I’m only 16 weeks at the moment with only one baby x
If I learnt anything from my 2 emergency sections I’d take in mints / sweets because I had coughing fits after and it bloody hurts ! Also helps with sickness after theatre xx
This is so exciting to watch! 💕 I’m due in feb with my second and it’s just so lovely to watch you go through this pregnancy! Also, seriously impressed with your packing skills!
Awww I’m so excited! I’ve so been looking forward to this video. This is the fasted RUclips pregnancy I’ve ever know lol was surprised to see wipes for the babies cuz they usually say cotton wool and cooled boiled water. All the best Lucy! And I love them bonnets xxx
Miss JayLeanne thank you! I am three years post the newborn stage I can’t remember what they recommend, but I’ll be taking wipes anyway. Even to wipe my own face with 😅 I love having wipes on me at all times xxx
Hi Lucy this video helped me so much, I'm in the same boat as you but I'm a new mum currently 32 weeks and soon to be mummy of identical twin boys, can't wait but stuck on what to put in the bags for hospital your video has helped though!!! ❤
Kotex towels are the best ones after a baby i swear by them and they were reduced to 50p a pack in the pound shop on Friday so maybe have a look and save the thin ones for the lighter days and you could decant the shampo/conditioner and other toiletries into smaller pots and bottles, also you could get some solid bodywash from lush as it takes up next to no room and it lasts ages ,rolling clothes is a life changer when it comes to packing especially if you use packing cubes or even ziplock bags as it makes them easy to find for example all nightwear together, bras and panties etc and it reduces the volume of the clothing xxx
Those cots look beautiful you’re very prepared Lucy I forgot half of the stuff with mine and they were all singleton pregnancies lol not long now sooooo excited for u all xxxx
My daughter was 8.1lbs and she was in size 0 from birth so I don’t think you’d need bigger... I love all the colours you’ve used for the twins clothing sooo lovely
Would love to see a video on your bump skincare routine, a bump measurement to see how big you’ve got etc. Maybe as an addition to your bi-weekly baby updates?😊 love your they’ve been so informative!💕
Good luck lovely for it all when the time comes and enjoy your new arrivals first few days together especially finally meeting them is so special I remember when my cousin's had their baby boy and then their girl the first days were so special 💖
Hello there, you are looking great and well. Great vlog showing all the wonderful things you have for your babies bag. So exciting, not long to go now. Hoping everything goes well for you. It would be lovely if you could do a vlog on the larger items you have purchased for the imminent arrival of twin girls. Anyway take care and take it easy. Much love xx
Wishing you so much joy and happiness ahead, I have really been loving your videos this past few months.... especially the ones of you and Jordan, you two crack me up!! I'm a west country girl and my man is from Somerset so its cool to see vloggers from the best part of the UK making such great content. I love that you’re not putting pressure on yourself to breast feed! I was curious if you meant pumping or? Because you mentioned getting formula. Was just confused what you meant. :) I’m excited for you!!
I packed my baby’s hospital bag yesterday but haven’t done mine yet and my partner was like ‘yeah I’m gonna need you to do that Cos I have no clue what to pack you if you go into labour’ 😂❤️🎀 bless him x
In America they provide blankets and shirts that cover the hands and bottles and diapers and pacis for baby . And for mom they provide pads and a wash bottle and socks . So far I can’t tell if there’s more because I had a c - section . But I guess you guys are different you over packed a lot but maybe you need them all
