My only critique of Jake's rendition of this classic by Neil Young...is it's missing nuance or compassion in his voice. Maybe he's emotionally disconnected from the piece. Has he seen a friend die from Heroin overdose...or watch as someone he loves wastes their life because of drugs? I don't get the feeling he has. But, sometimes you can also harden yourself to those things and just feel numb. Hard to say. I think it's a testament to Jake's sensitivity and awareness that he appreciates someone like Neil Young. I love it.
