Probably the most beautiful of your Iceland videos, and certainly the most emotional. What a lovely tribute to your grandmother. I'm so sorry for your loss, Maudi.
Sorry for your loss Maudi. Apart from that this has to be the most beautiful video of them all - the nature is staggeringly beautiful. After time with your family I hope you will go back on the road and document all these beautiful places and experiences. Love to you both. :-)
Hi Maudi and Eric. So sorry for you to end this beautiful journey in such a sad way. Wish you all the best. But this time again a wonderful video. I don' know about your next plans, but please, keep making these great trips and absolutely brilliant filming. There's no other future for you then becoming nature documentary directors.🙂

Hi guys. This is the first time I comment or your videos. I stumbled upon one of your videos recently after following quite a few bike tourers. I fell in love with you and channel instantly, and now I find myself go through all of your content, both practical and adventure videos. I decided to comment on this video specifically because of these reasons: -The beautiful shot to sky from the tent floor and you putting the rain cover. Smart shot and lovely outcome. -the decision to share your hard moment honestly and without making a click bait item from it. -the kindness and calm attitude towards one another. I guess some rougher moment are still there off camera, bust still. -the amazing cinematography all the way from shooting to editing. Love every moment. You are really amazing. Thank you. And sorry for your loss Maudi.
Quick tip if a tire is difficult to put back on: Squeeze the tire all the way around the wheel. This sets the bead deeper in the rim, giving it more slack and making it easier to put on. Finish one side of the tire before doing the other side. I'd also advise against using tire levers to put it back on. In my experience there is significant risk of pinching and puncturing the tube. I once fixed a leak, only to make two new ones with the levers... :)
Lovely video as usual. We have been following all your Iceland series and are planning to do it the future.. Our deepest sympathy for your grandma Maudi.
Such a wonderful place thanks for sharing this one of a kind adventure. Take care my friend till next bike packing adventure My deepest sympathy sympathy E and M 🙏. 😊

Your rim is in the middle much smaller than on the outside. If the wire of the Tire is already sitting on the edge it is hard to pull over. So before pulling on 12 o'clock push the 6 o'clock position in towards the middle. This will relieve some pressure from the wire in the tire and help to pull over. Same for mounting the tire to the rim.

I've watched a few videos from Iceland now. A wild, untamed and beautiful country that demands probably everything from a biker. Nevertheless, you both have a nice interaction with each other - that's how it comes across in the videos. I wish I could give this video more than one "like." Surely one of your best yet. You take us on an incredible emotional journey as well as a spectacular physical journey. I'm not sure what it was about this series, but I feel like I've really gotten to know you both more than on your previous series. Maybe because you seemed so much smaller and more vulnerable in this wild landscape? And perhaps you shared more of yourselves? Anyway, you could put this series together into a full-length documentary, I think. It's that good. Fantastic filmmaking and storytelling. And Maudi, my very deepest condolences on your loss. A sad way to end a trip, but just as you dedicated this video to her, perhaps you can dedicate your next Iceland trip to her. Enjoy Morocco. Can't wait for the next series. Stay safe!
Thanks Peter!! Interesting, yes we wonder why... Perhaps because it was more about us this time as we didn't have many interactions with locals... And perhaps the overwhelming landscape made us philosophize & share our thoughts more... :-) Greetings from Morocco!

Thanks Peter!! Interesting, yes we wonder why... Perhaps because it was more about us this time as we didn't have many interactions with locals... And perhaps the overwhelming landscape made us philosophize & share our thoughts more... :-) Greetings from Morocco!
My heart goes out to the both of you, specially to the little lady. RIP OMA. And my god Eric you really get looked after, The little lady does the dishes, Gives you chocolate (For that tiny little cut 😂) And makes coffee for you when your shower her how strong you are with the tyre 😅 Your really on a good wicket mate 🤗🤗🤗. Apart from the bad news, Great video 👍.
Haha thanks Tony! We're happy that we can divide the chores, filming me doing the dishes is also a lot of work 😋 And without Eric fixing the tyre I might not be able to tour at all, haha! ;)
