  • This was captioned as an instrumental, but it could be a backing track being built up and having a guitar added ???? The guitar is on one track and the rest of the backing on the other. Another that can't be identified but was found in Joe Meek's studio.
It's claimed copyright exists for this, and says it has the same melody as "Caj pana Pickwicka"

Seems that's Czech/Slovak for "Mr Pickwick's Tea" - referring to the Dickens character, which seems slightly odd but there was a big Lon/NY Pickwick musical around the time, 1965.
How similar? People will have to judge for themselves: Olympic - Čaj Pana Pickwicka ruclips.net/video/RbhW0ZyY0s0/видео.html

Sounds quite different imo. But there are a few tracks of a group called "5 travellers" on a Stylus Brit-Pop instrumental compilation. These tracks are (probably) all Olympic-tracks. At least one of them is on an eastern-German compilation and another is Čaj Pana Pickwicka (called Pickwick Tea on the CD). Trev Faull of Stylus said, he doesn't know anything about these tracks, but maybe there is an Olympic - UK-connection. However I doubt, that this Meek demo is part of it.
