I like the developers are invested in making a legitimate game. They're not just trying to sell a game, they're actually putting effort into making one of the best, and accurate Titanic games to date.
I would totally support them on Patreon if they ever decide to open a page. It's a shame they want to get "official" investors when there're so many Titanic fans out there who would/could support them.
pink custard It's a huge ambitious project and the markets are pretty shaky right now... who knows what Four Funnels looks like on its balance sheet? Independent crowd funded companies are a bit of a grey area in terms of their financial health. It's a risky investment that doesn't have any guarantee of servicing its investors and creditors once it's finished, if it ever is. Mainstream investors might prefer to stick to regular share markets that have more stable returns... because that's what investors want, they don't always care about the project at hand
Im crossing my fingers for you! I really want to donate and i'll have to get some money together to help you guys out. Titanic is such a huge area of interest for me and i've always dreamed of a game like this. You guys really deserve that investor with all the hard work you've put in and im hopeful you'll get all you need and more :)
Thank you for the amazing update on the much anticipated Titanic game. We've been following the progress and appreciated this update. We will promote the project on our social media channels and "Thank you" for investing so much time to support the preservation of the ships history. Happy Titanic Week!QMI Restore the Queen -Community preservation of the RMS Queen Mary.
Amazing! So happy this project is still active. Take your time, this is going to be a historical masterpiece and definitely ignites something new in the gaming industry. As a history student myself (and an active gamer) this is a dream come true. Games to relive and retell history is just the new way of this generations to learn something. No more Jack and Rose bullshit! So glad you guys are still working on this and enthusiastic. The support you receive from the Titanic historians is well deserved. Go make this brilliant! Hell yes!
Jiskpirate I know right. I love the titanic, but I love the real one and not the jack and rose love story. I used to talk about the titanic all the time but when I told people about the actual titanic almost no one cared, but when I mentioned the movie and its accuracy to history, all they wanted to know about was jack and rose. it gets on my nerves. the real titanic is awesome, but jack and rose love story is total crap. Hopefully Titanic Honor And Glory will bring an end to all the stupid jack and rose stuff.
Credit where its due though, Titanic the movie brought the ship back into peoples consciousness and if not for it I am not sure there would be quite so much interest in the real vessel.
Don't get me wrong, the movie is really good if you leave the jack and rose story out. The attention to detail, the series of events, that marvelous staircase, the carpets woven by the company that did the originals on titanic's, etc etc. It's just that if you say titanic people say Leonardo DiCaprio. And that pisses me off.
Jiskpirate yes, the attention to detail was excellent. jack and rose in my opinion though was a really bad love story. the story about the ship and the real people was awesome, but jack and rose i never really paid attention to. they knew each other for a couple days and during those couple days only saw each other a couple times and that somehow makes a perfect love story. I think a documentary drama would have been better in my opinion. unfortunately though, every disaster movie need some sort of crappy love story nowadays. I just don't get why people only cared for jack and rose and somehow didn't acnowladge that there were over a thousand other people in that water. it is just sad.
I'm not even a Titanic expert and I don't know much about it so I'm really glad people who studied it more than me agree that the movie really missed a chance at telling a more interesting story than a made-up romance. Plus, the Straus' story (as little as I know about it) sounds so much more interesting and they only got... 2 seconds in the movie? It's a real shame and I really hate that the focus of the movie was this overdone corny romance and not the actual Titanic. Also I'm kind of mad that there was nothing about the Carpathia and her crew. Because her story and her passengers' and crew's story really deserved to be told.
It's a shame that a hand full of people are working on a DECENT project and have to struggle for resources, while the big companys don't hesitate to spend billions of dollars into stupid and brainless shooters...
Concur........ this is history and it saves this glorious ship of dreams for all time...... she is being returned to the elements quite rapidly now.... but this will remain
TITANIC WEEK - YEH! I don't know why, but sharing Titanic anniversaries with you guys has become quite a tradition for me as well. Keep up the good work and good luck with the investments!
Titanic:Honor And Glory made my day happier with this scene of the Second Class Dining Saloon, i´ve been seaching and researching so much for a unseen photograph of this room for use as reference for my cardboard model and i haven´t find it, so i'm very happy now, thanks very much for this sample, i´m gonna cry man!!!!!!!!!!
I'm really pulling for you guys. I know I speak for hundreds, saying we would love to see this project carry through. Good luck! Happy Titanic week! You need to go to Rayanne House in Belfast.
I am sooo excited for you all!!! I have been a "titanic fanatic" since I was a kid, and have a bunch of books on it. When I found out about this game, by googling info about the old game "Adventure Out Of Time", I was BLOWN AWAY by everything. By your attention to detail, and omg. I just love this all. Playing just the demo and exploring a bit, made me cry. I've always imagined what it would be like to walk through its halls....good luck to you all!!!
The best thing about this whole project is how it's collating such a wealth of information and I cannot wait to see the final results. Keeping my fingers crossed that funding goes well and everything goes smoothly- you deserve it so much!
Been following this project from at least 2013 or something and I'm not even mad that the game isn't out. I've enjoyed your enthusiasm and dedication to it immersively. It's almost like watching a child grow, where you get glimpses of the progression throughout the years. It has become a ritual for me to occasionally check your updates. Keep it up.
I'm really excited because I know how good this will be with all the love and the passion you guys have put into this project I hope you guys get funded by big name you all freakin deserve it cause this right here is soo amazing and I look forward to hearing more updates guys keep up the good work
I've got my fingers crossed. I really hope you can get the game funded. I'm glad to see an update. I was getting a little worried the game might have died. I'm glad it didn't. :):)
I've been to the Halifax Cemetery and my heart dropped when I was there. I have been obsessed with Titanic since I was young and It felt so heart breaking to see some of the graves..
You guys have been working so hard on this project. You're so close to finishing. I'm sorry I can't donate, but the work you've been putting in is extraordinary. And for that, I thank you 👍
I downloaded the demo the other day, and it made my jaw drop. Literally. I can't think of a single moment in my life where I've been this impressed by a 3D model. I can't imagine the work that's gone into this.
This video is a great status update for the contributors! I've been following this project for a couple of years now, and it's so amazing to see how far you guys have come with the game and your research! Can't wait for the other videos this week :)
I'm most excited to see the engine room. I already looked at the boilers, and they were incredible. To see that immense machinery churning, especially in VR, would be a stunning experience.
I'm really happy to hear everything is going so well gents. You guys are bringing her back from the ocean floor and making sure her legacy survives for decades to come!
My prayers are with you. No one else alive seems to have the passion you guys have to see this done correctly, you most certainly have a sale in me when the game is done. Godspeed.
Awesome update and very informative. I am glad to hear that you guys are much closer to getting the investors you need. Hope everything with that works out well!
I can not wait to see this game!!! I have been watching the development of Titanic: Honor and glory from the beginning. You guys are so valued in the Titanic community, thank you for all you do! I respect all of the developers of this game so much. Cant wait to buy it.
Great video, so good to hear from you guys. Seeing this project grow over the years has been a pleasure for me, being into Titanic since I was a boy with my Adventure Out Of Time addiction. Looking forward to the coming days, and seeing what the months ahead have in store for us. Best wishes toward getting that investment.
I've been following this project for a few years and I'm very excited to see that it's coming close to release. I was actually curious why until recently you guys have been on the DL with updates and I didn't know your project and resources have been the targets of thievery, with that I completely understand and respect your decisions to avoid frequent public updates for the sake of security. Hopefully with the assistance of investors and distributors, this game will gain a good public outreach and like Ballard's discovery of the wreck in the 80s and Cameron's movie in the 90s: this will bring Titanic back into the general public's interest.
I love the fact that when you go on your website you can see the RMS TITANIC sailing, as if it was real. Its the closest I will ever be able to get to a large 20th century ocean liner. I also recently read the On the sea of glass book and it is a B + 85 book, very well written and a night to remember flavor to it. But I think for a beginner to Titanic this game is a good start along with a beginners book.
Love the update, gents! Love seeing the game development progress, and so glad you guys are taking the time to do it right. This will be a triple-a title when it's finished!
This game looks like it's going to be so awesome, I watched a video of someone playing the demo, it was so wonderful you felt like you were actually on the Titanic! The graphics are beautiful, the ship it's self is beautiful. I cannot wait to play the game. Also a couple of Robins lines are funny, like the one about logging.
Looking forward to Titanic week. I hope we get to see an update of the sinking or anything with it, such as on important events like the collision and the final plunge. Greetings from Philippines.
I am very hopeful and thankful for this project. This appears to be a one of a kind thing in terms of Gaming and education, history, interactive fiction, and whatnot. Insh'Allah (God Willing) this will come to fruition!
Sounds good, guys! I wish you all the best in the project, and I really think you are going to WOW the gaming world with this one! And although you might put to rest many of the great myths and mysteries surrounding the ship and it’s people, I am sure that as far as fascination with the ship goes, your game is just the beginning of a whole new chapter.
Can't wait! I started freaking out at the mention of Nomadic... probably because of my obsession and the fact I have around 30 - 50 photos of her in service.
This is something I've wanted for years!!! Your dedication and hard work is amazing, I can't wait until it's released, and I see that you have top notch consultants, too. I think this game is going to be awesome, and I hope that everything works out. I will definitely buy this when it comes out!
Its tragic that finding investors has been a hard thing to do when the premise of this is something special n honestly will preserve titanic's memory. If i could win the lottery id throw all the moneys at this. Best of luck guys. Amazing work
So awesome - I was literally about to ask if there was going to be a development diary or blog. I only stumbled upon the project two weeks ago and I thought it was dead! exciting times. The VR made my wife cry.
I contributed. Wish I could have done more than 50, but it was all I could afford (meals this week are a little lean as a result, but I could use losing the weight!). My only problem with the demos so far is I keep getting seasick watching them!!! This is so beautifully done and the quality and attention to detail is mind blowing. I sincerely hope that when you release it there'll be an option to use it purely to look around the ship and a way to jump to locations so you don't have to keep going up and down the stairs or in the elevators, as they could get really boring really fast. Do it once or twice, fine. Do it for hours on end (which this thing deserves), I'm going to need a bucket by my desk!
Good work so far guys. Still no mention of a livestream for the anniversary on Saturday night (?). I'm sad, because this is the first year I can actually tune in without worrying about work the next day. But anyways, good luck with everything.
April Jolly Want to know something ironic about the Titanic? "God is not mocked", "Thou shalt not test the Lord thy God" ..... its designer did in the press at the time. Take a look. ruclips.net/video/30cKXQ40JoA/видео.html
This is just the holy grail of titanic experiences online. There were so many tries for titanic replica games, real life ships etc. ... If you don't make this, no one ever will. And I'm sure you will, because you guys are really ambitious and passionate about this project. I still feel unsure about the whole 'game' aspect. Because, as you use human models, they are very hard to get to look realistic. They could possibly break the immersion of the wonderful graphics you have done on objects.
I can't wait for this game! I had a very special feeling & goosebumps when walking around in the demo. I really like that you are so driven and that you know what you talk about. Will buy it immediately at launch or pre-order. I always wanted to take a look in the Titanic. I can remember how disappointed I was because of the limitations & lack of details of the Titanic model in Ship Simulator 2008.
I'm sure your team probably know this but if not, I'm going to mention it regardless. On RUclips I have seen a video called "making Titanic's clock", and at the 8:25 mark of the video he made a discovery about the sphere under honours foot. He believes it was more than a simple sphere. He believes it was a globe and judging by his description of the atlas lines, marks, & archive photos, he might be right. Check it out, and get it modeled in the game :) Love all the hard work all of you on the team do every day.
Always get really nervous when small game developers say, “We have so much going on behind the scenes, and a lot of it is finished!” And then proceed to reveal exactly none of it or talk about none of it. Don’t believe it until I see it, but regardless, hope this comes to fruition.
I just recently discovered Honor and Glory and it looks amazing. I'm looking forward to a full version where we can go through the whole ship. My grandparents had a copy of Adventure Out of Time and I played that a lot so I like the touches of that in there. The Purser thing made me jump first time. I wish I can contribute but I don't have the funds to do so.
Such an amazing job!! Keep it up guys 3 Finally, a great game retelling the story of the R.M.S Titanic. No more rubbish about the love story of Jack and Rose. I find it quite annoying to know there are some people know nothing about Titanic but the 97 movie.
Keep up the Great work, you are all doing, will be watching you guys, BTW relay enjoyed the last demo you put out , maybe on the next demo we can walk on the outer decks ;)
Thanks for the update. I would contribute but i just reached 13 years old. Hopefully you finish this game on time and make the most historically accurate yet fun game in history.
I like the developers are invested in making a legitimate game. They're not just trying to sell a game, they're actually putting effort into making one of the best, and accurate Titanic games to date.
Such dedication i hope that Titanic honor and glory stays on track.

LegoGuy87 um... not 2000🤣
LegoGuy87 There were 2208 people but they said in one of their old videos that there will be somewhere around 800 on screen
@@TerkzorrNows.your chance, they now want titanic fans not investors.
Best of luck guys! The whole world is waiting for this game!!!
yeah...for like 4 or even 5 years now.
I bet these idiots will never finish the game when they get to create the passengers lmao
- there is only a few of them and they don’t have a lot of money so stop hating
I don't understand why people aren't fighting to invest in this 🤔

Nothing in Particular Saturday. And i have an exam on that day. In history.
Nothing in Particular lol I wish. But it’s history on post confederation in Canada.
Nothing in Particular university isn’t all that different. It’s just you being more independent. And you learn in more detail.
Love it. Best wishes for the success of this project. Thank you all for your hard work and sacrifices.

Never clicked a video so fast in my life and not even kidding!
That's right and normally I wouldn't write such thing but this time I had to becaue it's true!
I'm really happy to hear everything is going so well gents. You guys are bringing her back from the ocean floor and making sure her legacy survives for decades to come!
u guys have done an awesome job!

My prayers are with you. No one else alive seems to have the passion you guys have to see this done correctly, you most certainly have a sale in me when the game is done. Godspeed.
I'm rooting for you guys!

Awesome update and very informative. I am glad to hear that you guys are much closer to getting the investors you need. Hope everything with that works out well!
Happy Titanic Week everyone!
Wait titanic week!??
What's that the year is 1901
How exciting
Wow, you guys have done such a wonderful job on this and I can't wait to see the finished product!
Happy Titanic Week from Nova Scotia Canada. Godspeed with the project.

Just love Park’s reaction! Two words that sum up this project!
Thank you for the Great video

There sure are plenty of other games trying to cash in on our work right now, though.
I enjoyed the real time sinking live stream last year. I like the room decor.
It's been 84 years..... been waiting forever for an update
Take your time guys! We can wait, we hope the game turns out super well! I will play it when it comes out. Happy Titanic week all!
Great to hear from you guys again. You had me at Ken Marshcall!!👍
I Can't Wait for the finished Product.
Looking forward to the week ahead!
Good luck. I really do hope this project doesn't have to be abandoned.
Have fun in Belfast - it's a great city!! Hopefully we'll see you guys 🙂
3:49 Bill and Ken's constructive criticisms versus Park's response. "Holy Shit!" lol
You guys are modern-day Titanic heroes.
you blokes are awesome, please release this soon, first game i'd actually pay for
I see what you did there, Nicolas Cage will be in the game!
I’m frickin zazzed for this game. So happy for you guys!!
Always unique that this stuff starts on my birthday.
Check it out, and get it modeled in the game :)
Love all the hard work all of you on the team do every day.
Always get really nervous when small game developers say, “We have so much going on behind the scenes, and a lot of it is finished!” And then proceed to reveal exactly none of it or talk about none of it. Don’t believe it until I see it, but regardless, hope this comes to fruition.
Such beautiful work. Keep it up!
Incredible work guys.
Awesome! A lot of exciting information. Thanks for the update!
Such an amazing job!!
Keep it up guys 3
Finally, a great game retelling the story of the R.M.S Titanic.
I live in Belfast, are you doing any public talks in Titanic Belfast? Would be cool to see.
Sounds awesome! Wish the best of luck to you all!
I just downloaded DEMO 3,it's beautiful.Really looking forward to the finished article!
Sweet can't wait to see this
