It's a celebration of them winning their third Queen's Award for Industry. Two up-to-the-minute British tractors are looked at in detail, the 454 & 574 models representing a brand new concept in farming. While we witness some bizarre machinery picking corn and explore the benefits of the 400 series balers.
Certainly International Harvester was a force to be reckoned with in the middle part of the 20th century and these old movies go a long way to capturing a flavour of that success.
