I got one today but mine's the bonded leather I don't really like bonded leather but it's not that bad the content is excellent great review
This is a beautiful Bible. I have an older black-and-white wide-margin edition, but this one looks much nicer. I must say that, though the Bible is impressive, I'm even more pleased with your cinematographic skills! The lighting is fantastic, as are all those close-up shots in HD. If I were in the market for this Bible, I'd watch this video over and over again. Great work!

The KJV seems to be THE most available of VERSIONS. But NKJV close 2nd. NASB 95 and 2020 seem my next favourite. And CSB after that .
This TN KjV study bible is really my dream bible since it's release. Really love this study bible😍. I wish I could have these bible, I watch your videos with a little envy as we don't have these quality bible in our place. Also, the price is prohibited for me🥺 Btw nice review sir. The study helps of this bible (pictures, maps, graphs, etc. ) may be a very great assistance especially to all the people who do not have the ability to visit biblical places themselves or have no professional knowledge on biblical archeology - if only it was not made in China or if we knew well the conditions Chinese people must work under to make this bible ...

Nice review. I just purchased one. I actually went into the store to buy the ESV study Bible and walked out with this one. My main reason after comparing the two was the readability of this Bible is just great. The references are so doable as in some large study Bibles the references are useless. Too small and crammed together. The page layout is just done right and the concordance, again is very useable. It doesn’t compare with the notes of the ESV but it’s a Dailey reader being kept I n my work truck so I just knew this Bible was more useable. I did not get the leather which looks awesome but the burgundy leather soft. It’s an awesome cover with a unique design. My only thought is I wish it came with some Hebrew Greek word studies. I see in your video it does in the NKJV. I didn’t really pay attention as I did look at the NKJV but didn’t like any of the covers. Lol and the ESV study Bible will have to wait for another day. Oh yes I also noticed my pages aren’t as bright white as yours. I like the bright. Great study Bible.

I am tempted to get this study bible. The ESV is very popular for its articles which are excellent it appears that it is from a reformed perspective I sometimes interplay it with my CSB study bible but I do like how it presents the arguments on certain topics. I generally read the passage first and if I don’t understand something I just use a study bible for more understanding but I am really learning to really pray before for clarification. But I do check that they match. The CSB sums it up in less words even if it presents other opinions the ESV will sometimes go into real depth but to be honest both are great.
@@claudiabailey5302 wow how time flies. I can tell you after 5 months using this Bible I have no regrets. It's pretty much my daily reader. The notes regarding doctrinal issues are very good. King James is not my version of choice but I find it forces me to do word studies. I still have not purchased the ESV study Bible. I do have an archeological one in NKJV and a customs Bible in esv but I gave it away as they were both similar. Of all things I'm actually thinking of getting the Lutheran study Bible in ESV. Anyhow God bless you and fill you with all knowledge of His son and his will as you seek Him in the Scriptures.
I've got the ESV study Bible and I read it everyday. I love it. I have ordered this Bible though, and am just waiting for it to come. I am very excited about it. I just got it cuz I have found a church I like and they use KJV so that gave me an excuse to buy another bible. And I have a 16 yo and a 14 yo so I bought three new bibles! The KJV cross reference Bible and everyday study Bible in KJV. I already have two KJV study Bibles but they are Pentecostal and the new church is a Baptist so once again excuses to buy more Bibles. So excited lol. I have a Bible buying problem haha. I was planning on switching over to my Ryrie NASB study Bible after I read through my ESV this last time but who knows how I will feel. I don't see myself buying anymore any time soon.

Have you compared the Nelson KJV and Nelson NKJV study Bibles? I’m thinking the Liberty U aspect of the KJV might lead to significant differences.
Didn’t Zondervan make a KJV Study Bible and if so how did it stand up to this one was just curious for someone’s opinion
Does this Bible get updated on its information if information is changed or corrected and do archaeological findings and information also get updated along the way? Or is the information pretty stagnant since the inception of this particular study Bible
I love The Expositors Study Bible from Jimmy Swagart. It explains in red each sentence, the meaning. It makes it easy to understand as you read. I don't need pictures, I prefer to understand what the Bible is saying. Please get and see if you like.😊

I like leather but I don’t like that it’s made from killing animals. So I am happy that they have other covers as well
I respect you greatly for having principles and standing up for them. That must be tough though in day to day life, you can't have a car with leather seats.. leather shoes.. and there's many things that are hard to avoid that are made by animals like bees and many others. Not to take it too far but beaver anal secretions as a flavor enhancer and a lot of foods and are labeled natural flavors. Also the fetal embryo flavor enhancer I believe you can look up HEK 249 to find info on that. I believe Pepsi I trident gum amongst many others use that hek 249. It's a hard principle to follow. Really? Do you know how many Cows and Pigs and slaughtered for people’s food? Millions worldwide! The meat people eat everyday and enjoy you can imagine their skins are being used since destroying would be nonsensical. Yes God gave man dominance over every animal and plant. Yes we can walk on grass, kill a deer and use your hair spry! God created earth for your good pleasure and he certainly will destroy it by fire on his appropriate time!❤
It is possible that the animal that was killed was used for many things including food, not just for this Bible.
It's not like an extra animal was specifically killed for this purpose, I'm sure any cowhide that is used come from a retailer that will sell it for any number of reasons least of all for bibles. And surely it came from a cow that was already dead, probably used as a food source. Though I personally don't appreciate the frivolous killing of any animals remember the first animals killed were in genesis for their sins and for skins to cover their bodies.

Pretty good actually. You can probably see in the video the text pages are excellent even on the full colour print pages it’s decent. 👍🏻
is this the same as was released originally in 1988 by Liberty University, and later by Nelson... and the second edition a few years ago...?? i have the first Nelson edition, no photos or pictures, i gave away my second edition copy to my youngest son but can't remember i saw any photos or pictures in that one either... is the newest, the one reviewed here, the same, only now with more materials....?? (in my first ed. copy there are not much extra material...)
Yes correct Helge, this is the latest edition so strictly speaking it is the third incarnation of the Nelson KJV Study Bible. It does have additional materials although I’m not sure exactly what (there’s certainly more than what I remember) and it is now full colour! This genuine leather version is really nice! God bless

and, btw, the 1st and 2nd eds have the Nelson KJV marginal notes, not the original KJV notes....
Wasn't it the whole point of doing the KJV that it would not have anotation ? Didn't the King hated the Geneva bible because of the notes ? Im positive the authorized 1611 did not have notes.

Just to clarify, the NKJV Study Bible from Thomas Nelson has totally different notes, photos, etc compared to the KJV reviewed in this video. Not the same Bible at all.

Can you tell me which you like better? I am looking at the KJV one because of the large print that is available. Unfortunately they do not have that in the NKJV full color bible.

From what I understand the originals back in the day had the Apocrypha so it was a little more.
I would like this bible but Im disappointed that the depiction of the people do not reflect the origin.

Thompson Nelson is doing many study bibles. It is hard to purchase one that doesn’t have a bias in it. I purchased this bible and just looking at the group that put it together caused me concern. I look for a non bias publisher and have gone with the kjv Allan. These are pricy but I trust the source better.
