Great job mate, really good transcription! One detail though: the bar just before the A and chorus (i.e bar 31, 62) is suppose to be played D d Ab D, that way you build more tension before landing the Ebm. Keep it up and sorry for my broken english.
Why does it sound like there are extra notes before the 1/16th notes in the first bar, is that from the guitar, or the rest. It seems like there are notes missing in the tabs
Yeah I've given the original a closer listen and I can hear it too, halfway into bar 2. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be guitar or bass, but it was low enough in the mix that it either snuck past me or I decided not to include it in the tab (it's been too long that I can't actually remember).
@@DarthMart Absolutely and thank you for posting this in the first place! It's such a fun song to try and learn-- I figure the more avenues of access, the better. Already transcribing onto Guitar Pro and should be finished and posted on UG by the end of the day.
I don't even know how to play bass, I just came because this song is awesome and the bass is groovy

Good catch! I did hear that there was something weird going on there, but couldn't quite put my finger on it. Listen to this guy ^

what a friggin' gift to the internet. I owe you one :)
You really nailed the recordings tone
That was completely accidental, I just used the default Clean Precision tone on Guitar Pro
Excelente aporte, gracias!

Thank you so much, such a nice bassline

grata surpresa. Good job!
Great stuff!
Someone has got to do the bass of 'The Opposite of Afternoon' bass!!
Just realized I never responded to this comment, but that someone was me: ruclips.net/video/0cJw_O47_hs/видео.html
Tab is useful, but you have to add some groove while playing (sometimes doubled notes etc.)
This, when you listen to the record he usually has a little extra note here and there that this isn't showing
Yessss
Amazing job dude!!!
Could you do one for How Many Zeros or The Internet Of Love?

Anyone know how to get that tone?
Mind if I throw this on Ultimate-Guitar? I'd give credit, of course
Go for it, preferably credit me somewhere though and post the version without my mistake (the Imgur tab in the video description has it fixed)

I really want to like this, but the likes are at 444 and the dislikes are at 4
And I don't blame you one bit
DarthMart I did subscribe just now tho :) thank you for making this video, might teach this to myself
What do the x’s on the tab mean?
They're dead notes, so you just pluck the string while muting it.
