thank you I really appreciate this. my goal for my page is to showcase and help and if I can help just even one person then I've done what i intended to do. yeah I've never seen the rear 3wheel as I call it. i believe its also called Dogleg🤷♂. I have never seen a real lowrider do it. you are 💯 on being a custom as in do what you do 👍
The easiest way to accommodate this with out cutting anything is simply add Automotive sticky weights on the trunk pan area. $2.00 bucks work of weights and your set. Hope that helps most of you wanting a solution with out cutting up the car.
i thought about putting weights in the trunk but i did not want to add more weight to the whole chassis. until i get the upgraded servos for hopping then I will have to reconsider more weights at the back.
if you want to hop up car tho more u can put silver plates with weight in the back but not to much so the battery can fit back there under the truck and not in the way of the magnets.(optional: for better pop 2 new servos for the front tiers)
What I don't understand, is they got the green light from Jevries to hook it up red cat style but then you see Jevs post videos of all the modifications hes making after they come out. Why didn't they just collaborate closer to provide these fixes from the beginning? This is another example. Ty for sharing
exactly but it could be due to many factors. my belief is that as a company they are limited due to safety issues etc.. if they are totally free and clear to do what Jevries has been doing then they need to continuously collaborate with Jevries and pick his brains. Jevries is the key. i am glad that Redcat continues to support the RC Lowriders and i hope they keep on providing what the base is asking and wanting. they own this market and they need to always be ahead or they will left behind like how others are making other clear body shells for the chassis and other parts... thank you for watching.... alowha🤙
You didn’t lose the swing acting by doin that ?one of the reasons it had the wheel goin all the way up is so that you could make it dance an do the swing action!!!!
swing action? sorry not too familiar with the car dance move terms. i only knew it a bit and old school. i just know f-b-s-s, corner to corner, seesaw, around the world, pancake, locked up, 3 wheel which I only consider it only at the front. @@Felgood808 that’s understandable!! I was thinking also about the reef’s servos but to get all 4 at once it’s kinda of expensive then it actually goes to Krazy with em I think in my opinion it’s to much but everyone has different likes !! But nice job you did on yours 😎👍🏼

It needs more tweaking than just adding weights. I’m currently trying to figure it out. I got lead weights in the rear and gotta hook up the CC 10amp BEC to see if it will get it to the point that I want. I also got a 3S LiPo battery which helps.

I did my defeat I put one straps in middle and I use Reedy Wolfpack LiPo and I'm buying weight so I cute enough room to push strap though the middle of gas tank but I can only use 1/16 traxxas lipo batteries and Reedy Wolfpack LiPo Battery my other batteries to to big to fit back there like my 4x4 stampede 3s lipo or my 1/10 erevo lipo batteries
i thought about doing that too but wasn't sure if it will get rocked around when rolling car dancing, or rolling 3wheeling. so much i need to reconsider once i upgrade my servos for hopping. you should make a video of your lipo tryouts to fit. id love to see what lipo battery would fit. im also trying to see what would fit in the trunk. im a visual person so its hard for me to shop around online. i need to see it personally. i had too many failed tryouts via online shopping🤣
Best way is remove the stock battery placement and relocate battery to the rear pan. The Lectron Pro 3s lipo battery is the best one to fit exactly into the rear pan but it is a bit costly. However you are going to need the 3s anyway for hopping so it’s a win win.
it already did during a high speed 3wheel turn on a bit of a hill and scuffed the paint off the bottom of the side mirror and took out the chrome trim off the corner of the rear bumper. i just noticed that only when i do it at high speed it tends to do that but i gotta remember that Lowriding is cruising low and slow then I should hit the 3 wheel motion. i just wanted to rid of the goofy rear 3wheel motion and the sometimes 2wheel motion pictured on my thumbnail. im also prepping it for hopping so trying to distribute more to the back. i did notice that the rear is now real heavy due to the nimh battery so im looking for a lipo that will fit perfectly in the trunk.
I wanted the weight of the nimh battery at the rear and did not want to fork up the money to afford 2s lipo let alone 3s Lipo. This time around though I’m not cutting it specially my other chrome one.
I already explained this in one of the comments. Basically, I could not find one that fits the exact well in the trunk so it would not bounce around and bump the walls. I only found smaller ones but i would need to line it with cushions all around the battery. I have extreme OCD when it comes to LiPos. My solution was to just cut slits to size of the velcro straps and strap the battery. But another problem is that its too light.

Yes but not alone. You’ll need the suspension, bec, 3s lipo battery, and maybe front servo and/or motor relocation.
