Got to Ellesmere around noon, decided to stop for lunch and so glad we did. Excellent meal. On the way back I even altered our route just to stop at the Red Lion again.

Saw you on Floating Our Boat! Nice job! Do you really want a New Boat? Make sure if you want a new one that it has a bow and stern thruster plus two electric drives and only a generator with no diesel drive. Make sure you have a ton of solar and a nice stove for the winter and a small AC unit for sleeping on very hot days. Any way have a nice cruise you two, it was very fun!
Hi Mark Debbie nice video again, can’t wait to see the drone video, I have a drone but useless with it, it would end up in the cut. I take it you don’t fish Mark I love it, I’d be doing more fishing than cruising. 🥂both . Steve

Im now going to look for the book you mentioned
Well Deck Diaries thx for that info. I’ll look this up also 💗
Well Deck Diaries this was one I looked at, are they followers ? www.narrowboatellis.com/
You always brighten my day - many thanks!
I'm so glad to hear that ❤️
Thank you both, love the banter, take care.
Our pleasure Christine
Great video guys and well done Mark for the tree (and not talking over Debbie which always drives me nuts 😉). We love Ellesmere it’s a beautiful part of the world. Have fun x
Ha Ha, It drives Debbie nuts too, but after 36 year together I've learnt if I want to be heard I have to push in🤣
Well Deck Diaries Oooh dangerous territory there 😂
Mark and Debs we are cruising the Llangollen in September, do you know of a fuel boat on the cut up there? Love the Vlogs and we have taken the plunge further to buy we now have a share in a boat for a year so we can get into the seasons. Stay safe and keep up the great work. Dave and Fiona x
There is a fuel boat that works along the Llangollen, our friends used them and was filled up at Chirk but I don't know the name of the company
@@welldeckdiaries5610 thank you a will research, enjoy your journey and love the vlogs, stay safe and enjoy the gin👍
Is been 34c in dudley and brum today nice video as usual
Phew, warm everywhere I think
Hi Pete yes it has been really warm hope your doing ok .Debbie x
Tanks för #xx of lovely vlogs! I have no more comments at the moment. I hope your not dissapoined!
No worries Rolf, as long as you still love the videos and hit that like button thats all that matters👍
I think if we changed boat it would be for one with an engine room with an old classic Gardner 2LW engine
Hi Mark Debbie nice video again, can’t wait to see the drone video, I have a drone but useless with it, it would end up in the cut. I take it you don’t fish Mark I love it, I’d be doing more fishing than cruising. 🥂both . Steve
Only got my first fishing rod for fathers day last year, caught a fish and had to google it as I didn't have a clue to what it was 🤣😂
Can’t help you with a blunt bow saw but, cheep trick: rubbing candle wax on the blade always makes green wood easier to cut 😉
Will try that next time 👍
Another great vid. Always a pleasure to catch up with your adventures on the canals.
Glad you like them Doug👍!
Hi guys love the l
Vlog... I hope your sending CRT an invoice for your services. They need to get out and trim the foot paths and river sides ... Keep safe thanks for sharing. Chet
Maybe they can send me a new blade for my bow saw👍
They'd more likely send him a fine for doing their job (that they don't do very well).
Hi you two, another good vlog, I thought you should have named the vlog not how too but how I do ! clear the cut of trees! Lol. Perhaps a bit of part time work as a tree clearer to the CRT. Well done, looking forward to next week. Stay safe.
Ha Ha Anne, I never even thought of that 👍. I think I'll have to do a "Not how to but how I do" wood cutting video
Look forward to it Mark.
Not commented for a while (to be honest I usually watch your videos on the TV so can't comment) but had to find it on the computer to comment :D The part about having to move the boat as you had no phone signal and had a video to upload....how you guys have come on as I remember your first video which you expected to be only one video I guess by the tone of it as a little hello to your family and now you have a new online family to keep in touch with :D
Thanks for taking the time to comment Barry, We actually watched our very first video recently and remember how unnatural it felt talking to camera and now its just the norm and we have a lot of fun making the vids, and love all the comments from our online family
Great job on that tree Mark 😅
Thanks Brian 👍
great vlog mike and debs
Thanks Andi👍
Lovely vid as usual and such a lovely couple you dovetail each other so well, and are so in tune with each other. Mark you should get a reduction in your yearly charges to canal trust for removing that large tree 🌳 All on your own. Xx 😘
Love that, "dove tail each other" ❤️
Either a reduction in fees or a free chain saw 👍
Hi guys... thanks for another lovely video... I'm so waiting for your response to the Weir ed Mark's shot at you guys....lol.... i reckon it will be good...lol... keep safe until the next one....
It might take a while but Mr Weir knows I will be thinking something up 🤣😂
Methinks you need a new blade for the bowsaw!
Got one on order👍
