No worries, thanks for the response. They look great and seem to really suit the Scirocco. They are similar to the ATS Racelight wheels, but very slightly different.
I hope your torque method is ok and the the bearing is not too tight, a torque wrench would be better, but if you don’t have one you have to guess it I suppose, good luck.
The bolt was torqued to 200Nm using a torque wrench as seen in the video. Then 180deg turn further using a breaker bar. This is as per VW spec. It’s called a stretch bolt. Where you give it initial torque which pre loads the bolt, then any further turns stretches the bolt applying the desired pressure. Same as your cylinder head bolts and many more found around any car. (Note never reuse a stretch bolt.)
yay just the video i needed 🥰
Made it look easy, just got a scirocco, subbed in case you post more how to's 👌🏼.
Not far from leeds myself n like a bit of biking 😎
Barely get time, but I will try
Level expert that, I especially liked the precision torque method used to tighten the new wheel bearing 😂
Me parece una pasada el apriete del rodamiento, la dinamometrica no es suficiente ?? 😮😮
Yeah it’s 200Nm + 180 degrees. It’s a stretch bolt and it must not be reused
Very helpful. Which wheels are these?
Unfortunately I am not sure as I have purchased the car with them already on. No brand marking on them either

Yes they are, nice. Horrible to keep clean though 😂
Tu sert beaucoup trop fort 😊

What is the size of the torx for the flex bolt please bud? Or is it a multi spline? TIA!
It’s M18 BGS 5381-M18 | Impact Bit Socket | 12.5 mm (1/2") Drive | Spline (for XZN) M18 amzn.eu/d/3JVLy4w
What's the torque spec for the bearing?
200NM plus 180 deg, make sure you always replace it as it is a stretch bolt.
