Trick, or the right way to level is to use two at a time turn in or out (so with palms down move thumbs towards each other, moves bubble right, or away from each other, moves it right), which way your left thumb goes is the way the bubble goes, but first put the bubble in the middle of two of the level knobs, once you do one, move to next and repeat, you will be done after 2 but spin and check. Laid in 10s of thousands of mortars, artillery, using a M2 aiming circle, just a transit with compass and vertical.
Great piece of kit. Years ago I built our deck out the front could have used one of these . Luckily I had a good eyecrometer lol. Cheers good video.

Thank you

How do you measure horizontal distance?
It really helps if the rod man is paying close attention to the transit man. Or thing s could take a lot longer.
You are so right
I’m watching a music video. Can’t hear anything else. Not very instructive. Lowering the volume of your loop track would be very helpful.
Sorry about that we will see if we can fix that.
Nice review
Thanks!
You need a dome top tripod. That would save you a lot of time on leveling every time you move it.
Thanks for the tip!
I disagree rotary lasers are more convenient but are usually between 1/16 - 1/4in off. Transits are dead accurate
