Yes you can, DD force on it own is another strong chemical in this group that can be diluted and used to control a wide range of insects.

In this production IPA serves as a binder, so that your Insecticide does not separate at the long run. U can use ethanol instead of boric acid as this has a different function.

The color is just a personal choice, 50% of insecticides in the market are colorless.
