Thank you for your great video. Love your piggery business model for selling piglets. Because of you, we planted much Madre de Agua and Taro. Our piggery in Negros Oriental, Bayawan province, is doing well. We have 4 sows and 1 boar. We have built a nice house for our sows and Boar with ceiling fans and 3 large fattening houses with each house having multiple fattening pens. Along with the piglets from our sows, we buy piglets for fattening. We currently have 72 piglets we are raising as fatteners for monthly harvests from February to June. Our initial capital investment to raise fatteners was expensive. But, it’s a nice profitable business now for our family in the province. Thanks for always sharing. Take care always and God bless
Oh Wow Im very happy to hear that, I wish you more progress and success on your farming. I love the fact that you have a very huge farm, theres lots to do. You have a wonderful day,
Hi Rose. I loved this. We raise cattel here. I know the work involved with careing for animals. No days off..you know. I am happy you can make a buck at it also. Giving people jobs food in the process is a very good thing also.
Great video Rose, thank you for sharing. I learned a lot and I appreciate, you are doing an amazing job. Lots of hard work but in the end pays off, keeping busy is a good thing. Have a great day! to you and Randy.
Very good video. Good to see you back in action. Must be caring well for the pigs, they look so happy. Used to have up to 6 fatteners here, but on a pice of land walking free. Just had a small place with a roof to sleep when the weather was bad. Wish you the best of luck for the coming year.

This means that one female rabbit gives about 100-120 kg of meat for sale (due to the slaughter of her born individuals). As a result, you can earn about $ 300-350 from one female in 12 months. A rabbit farm will thrive if the owner sells not only meat, but also the skin of individuals. Analysts and experts are confident that this business is profitable by 70-80%. And rabbits feed on the grass under their feet, they do not need expensive compound feed like pigs.
Hello Biliran island people. Loved the video, i can almost smell the poo from 8k miles away. 😂 that momma pig (all white) looks to me like a Yorkshire pig. Durock pigs are totally red in color. Maybe its different in the Philly Willie?
I'm sure like dogs when you breed them the lines get muddy. When I had pigs we kept them all apart and (tried) to keep the lines as pure as possible. My favorite breed i don't see in your pigs. Hampshire, the black pigs with the white stripe around their front 2 legs. Such a smart and fun animal to raise. I used to show my pigs in FFA and won 1st place 4years in a row. They were like pets until the end of the year when they were sold at the market at 350-400 pounds.(my mom cried every time) 🤣
Thank you Rose for sharing that with us I never realized you had so many of them what's the average lifespan of the male and female and that one he almost bite your butt😂
Average lifespan would be 15 years, but the years of their good production is less than 8 years. No they never bit me..its just their way of saying wheres our food mom? 😂
Im making money with this kind of scale i have now..The bigger you grow the stress it gets and I cant handle them alobe by myself thus required me to get regular workers wich I dont like😂😂😂
@@rickwyatt976 historically we (farmers) collect the manure in a manure pile that allows the east to break down into useful fertilizer and then spread it into either the garden or the field instead of using the (toxic) chemical fertilizer used by Agribusiness. It keeps the whole process as a closed system where the crops feed the animals. The animals waste is then used to feed the crops. So as long as the pig waste isn't getting into the aquafer (difficult) or the waterways it is an extremely efficient and "green" method of soil improvement. Hope that helps.
Hi rose, how much does it cost maintenance wise, water, electricity, vaccinations and Veterinarian call outs. also how many times a year can you breed the pigs
I dont do much of vaccines thing other than iron and multivitamins for pickets only also 2 weeks after born so lets say 5oo pesos per mama every delivery. I breed mama 2 times a year..pregnant in the last 2 months end of year. Ellectric and water not much. its like 100 pesos per month for water and 200 pesos for e;;ectric.

How do you have such good water pressure?
We are blessed..we are the first consumers we live on the mountains
👍👍👍
Steven hello
Probably a silly question...but you live on the top of the mountain, where do you get your water from? Do you have a well or a spring nearby?
We're only about half way up the mountain. On the top they have a Reservoir and its piped down to us and it's safe to drink.
@@AmericaManFilipinoWife oh, thank you for the info. Do many places have potable water?
Yes We have many places taht has water safe to drink
Do you have a septic thank for the waste that you wash out of pens?

Rose, are the male piglets castrated during the fattening process, or are they sold intact?
