what's the battery name for Alienware M15 R2? I plan replace my battery cause its bloated but IDK what the battery name is.

My adapter's light is on but the laptop won't charge nor operate without the battery! Isn't it supposed to work while plugged on despite the battery issue?

yes it should work with charger plugged, there is may be another issue in the laptop apart from battery issue
