Can't wait for you to get into their album after this one. Heritage is a huge step in a different direction. They still stay Opeth though, but very very cool ideas in the Heritage album. It is a controversial one though because it was a huge shift from their previous albums.
Bonus tracks can be bonus tracks for many reasons. Maybe they're not quite there, to be on the album; sometimes they are covers of other songs; sometimes they are demos.
Btw the guy on the upper right corner is a computer generated picture merging all the band members' faces into one ugly guy :D I think they call him Jorge or something like that
I follow you. It's just another way of writing in this song. Almost a filler for the album. Maybe that's why they made it a bonustrack😉 It has its sections that are nice, but surely not the best of the album. Agreed.

Idk, this sounds more like their older albums. I feel like Hessian Peel is a better transition.

i think this is opeth's strongest album. its just so dense with riffs/ideas. i love it.

The album is a better whole without this track. It doesn't really fit the sound of the album. I'm glad they released it as a bonus.

Well, this album does moves kind of far away from progressive death metal in my opinion compared to deliverance and still life.
