Department of corrections has been serving warrants since the first guy broke out of prison and they went to find him. If you escape prison or are wanted while on parole or for a violation and they are planning on taking you right back to prison. The BoP the Us Marshalls and DOC of that state might all go after you nowadays together.

Sadly, a friend of mine did that while his wife was sitting in a cop car watching and begging them not to kill him. He was obviously having psych problems and they shot him. He never fired his weapon (AR15). He was shot while holding a knife.

Pretty easily. Most police officers only practice a few times per year. Rifles are easier to aim accurately than pistols.

Being in the middle of charlotte and Raleigh, I never would have imagined something like this would happen over in that direction.
I live about 30 minutes outside of Charlotte and I fully knew something like this could possibly happen. Charlotte has gotten terrible over the last 10 years. The city I live in is nicknamed Shotsbury for this very reason. People are shooting and killing each other left and right. They don’t care who you are or your job title. A infant was actually shot in my city just last week. It’s getting very scary out there.

Am not police, am retired USMC. Initially, the advantage is usually with defense not offense. Prepared position with cover and concealment, supplies, ammunition, water etc are in place. Fortified. Practiced. Seems to me these police need to rethink going to a home in daylight. Am I correct?

SWAT training utilizes all night vision tactics for apprehension.
Perpetrators are generally asleep and statistically is the best time to SWAT a suspects house.
