Brilliant Lee. I was looking for a simple fast. What to do. Have been trying to figure it out for a year and complicating everything 😄. So a big huge thnku hug 😊

Brilliant comprehensive tutorial Lee as ever,I've been busy collecting&shredding this years seaweed,a few frosty mornings but spring is definitely showing, looking forward to more ninja HQ updates.
Thanks Roy. Sounds like you’ve been busy recycling the oceans free gifts! 😉🥷🤘 My bees are slowly becoming more active so hopefully more guides to follow shortly! 🌿 Take care!
Let the gardening commence! Will be popping out at lunchtime to have a quick 30 minute tidy up. The blackbirds are nesting so it must be time to get back in the garden!
Hi Elliot. Great to hear from you! I spotted a few too flying in and out so spring is on the way. 30 mins of power sounds like a great way to spend your lunch time! Happy gardening. 🥷🤘🌿
So nice of you and glad my contents getting out and about in the garden Ian! I can't wait to spend longer days enjoying the ermergence of spring. Won't be long now! 🥷🌿🤗
@@Gardenninja I have been following you since lockdown and your channel has definitely given me confidence to potter in the garden. Like you I am a sucker for ornamental grasses, I just need to find some more room for them in the beds.🤔
Keeping it real Lynn! I’ll be using my ‘plinky plonky’ term soon that I always say to Charlie Dimmock! 🤣 ‘Listen Charlie it’s all a bit plinky plonky that luv, can I go in and add some Ninja flare to it please?!’ 😉🥷🤘🌿
Thanks for the tips I will have to wait a bit since we just had a snowfall!! Outrageous. Sigh. I hope my poor garlic sprouts are ok. I may have to replant if they've all been frozen.
thanks mate. Good morning... have a great week... from sunny Liverpool... playing deftones and slipknot to get me through the work day... and of course watching your videos 🙂🤘👍
Hi Dave! Always great to hear from a fellow metal head! May have to get some Deftones in today at the design board now. Not listened to them in a while. Though may end up telling any difficult clients to ‘shove it’ hahaha. Keep it heavy mate! 🥷🤘🌿
That’s a good idea Barrios. I always cut now as if you leave it too long with grass and herbaceous the new growth starts to get hacked with the chop too! Depends on where you are and the climate you’re dealing with. 🥷🤘🌿 Happy gardening!
Hi Jay. If it’s flowering then no. Leave it. Let it finish. When the flowers are spent in say March or April give it a trim with some secateurs to give it a nice relaxed shape. Try and avoid the blobby egg shapes! 😉🥷🤘🌿
Hi Figaro. No it was some tall Heleniums that I cut back. Well done on spotting the dog wood though! If you want to know how and when to prune these then follow my guide here! www.gardenninja.co.uk/how-to-prune-cornus-dogwood-shrubs/ 🥷🌿🤘
Great prompting, Lee, I must get out there and get tidying up. I planted a small Potentilla shrub last year, and it's about 2' high, will it benefit from pruning this year, and if so, is this the time of year to do it, cheers James
Hi James. I love Potentillas. They need very little pruning to be honest. I usually just take off the tips which can get a little wind burnt in the winter. Hope that helps! 🥷🤘🌿
Yes! It’s jacobs ladder. One of my favourite native alkaline loving wild flowers. Super easy to grow from seed. Checkout my guide here for more! www.gardenninja.co.uk/how-to-create-a-wildflower-meadow-the-easy-way/ 🥷🤘🌿
Nice one, thanks What a great looking plant, you say alkali. I assume london being all on clay means they may not work well here. Possibly why I haven't seen one
Aww we’ll digging them up is the only way. Chemicals will be a waste of time and super harmful to the rest of the garden. Maybe just go with them or add some competing plants! 🥷🤘🌿
I'm full of the flu at the mo. So can't get out yet, this has fulfilled my gardening needs while I get better.
Oh no Toni! I hope you get better soon. Hope the vicarious gardening is good! Take care. Lee 🥷🤘🌿

The Japanese scythe is a good idea so will look out for one. Thanks Lee

I think I'll wait until mid spring, using the dead cuttings as a mulch which gets reabsorbed into the soil.

My viburnum has gone mad over the past year and its flowering right now. Can I give it a big cut back or nah?

Sir David Martin, I have heard about this guy from different people, even in radio commercials, who is he?
