We were lucky to have peak Toby and Jan - a great partnership, but I don't think I've seen an individual defender at Spurs with this level of talent since Ledley King. And I think his ceiling is higher than Ledley who sadly suffered from career defining injuries.
I've been a spurs supporter since 1960 and I've not seen anyone this good since Ledley who was just so smooth and unhurried and romero has the same qualities

For me Romero has the potential to become the best center back I have ever seen play for Tottenham and I've been a supporter of the club for a very, very long time now and seen some really good players at that position. If he keeps going with how he's started it'll only be a matter of time before he's in that category.
