- We take a look at the vehicles from Super Powers Wave 7, and Gold Label Brainiac.I point out a few of McFarlane's tricks. Repainted reused molds!!! NOT the best wave.

That Brainiac and that Blue Beetle figure are both unique sculpts. There is nothing the same about them. The abs definitely are not the same. Take closer look. The 2 Brainiacs share a body with a different head, shirt collar and belt. They don’t share anything with Blue Beetle.
Put them heel to heel. The same "frame" was most likely used. The abs are the same shape on Beetle, and Brainiac. My MIL noticed... and that says a lot. I worked in merch. Companies are always trying to save. McFarlane is not unique. I'm not saying they're the exact same sculpts. But they use some of the same parts, and basic design. Just like Darkseid, and Killowog share the same design. Same exact height, size, and their feet are same size/spaced.
@@CaptainHavfun-lp4ok I’m not understanding what you mean by “they use some of the same parts”. Maybe they were built up from the same generic frame. I don’t know if that was by hand or digitally but the details of the sculpt are completely different. Boots are different. Arms are different. Blue Beetle has details sculpted on his chest that are not simply painted. The abs are not the same shape. Maybe similar but definitely not the same shape.

Yeah. IDK. I know Jason was around back then. But wasn't this supposed to be Dick Grayson? It was a remake of the Super Powers Robin. Right? Obviously, the button was new but that's it.
