Since I’m not interested in soccer, I avoided this show despite the buzz about it. Then it got all the Emmy nominations, and I figured I should at least check it out. Wow. Exceeded all my expectations, and then some. Now into season two, and it continues to blow me away.

Bill Lawrence is the KING at making what seems like a "silly comedy" and then it grows on you/surprises you because of stellar, heartfelt, relatable writing and an ensemble cast with crazy chemistry. Cougar Town remains criminally underrated and stands with scrubs in the "silly comedy full of pathos" magic department.

SCRUBS is my favorite show ever and I started watching Ted Lasso because Bill has a hand in creating it. Now Ted Lasso is my favorite tv show now.

one of the better interviews. I like her questions, their answers and her lack of interruption is awesome.

I have watched a lot of interviews about Ted Lasso in the last 6 weeks and this is by far one of my favorites! Thank you for sharing your process, creativity, and most of all, giving us Ted Lasso!

I downloaded and power watched seasons 1 and 2. The first thing I would tell you is really need to pay attention to every detail because part of the magic of Ted Lasso is the way the writers bring you back to common themes from episode to episode. They did a great job of continually revealing each characters personality, with all their ups and downs. Additionally, as a guy who came to FOOTBALL late in life, I loved the scenes where Beard teaches Ted about intricacies of the game and traditions. Sure, it took 12 hours to get through all 22 shows but well worth it.

I’ve fallen so deep in love with the Ted Lasso characters that talk about the formation of the show convinces me that there is a cosmic aspect to the show, one formed in Heaven or Nirvana or whatever you want to call it. I look forward to every Friday night now, knowing my heart will be touched.

Loved Ted Lasso. The entire cast was wonderful. The show was a really pleasant surprise. Major League meets Friday Night Lights. It has my vote this year.

32:35 I completely agree about Ted & Rebecca’s arcs being relatively equally important. So why is Hannah only ever nominated for supporting actress and not lead actress?

Brett has such an amazing "Roydar". Two Emmies later...he's clearly correct.

This got awkward when the host predicted what would happen to Roy 🤣

IT DID! lmao, i wonder if she predicted it, or they used her idea. If so, I hope she got credit or compensation. I think "Rainbow" is my favorite episode, and Roy returning to coach was one of the best moments in season 2.
