I loved this battle. I didn't notice that Marie picks up her hat as she jumps back into her tank.
The flag also bounces a little when she frontflips up on the tank. The details are pretty good.
I feel so sorry for the maintenance people who need to fix all those shit after the battle

@@kaollachan The Oorai (main characters) team had an old french tank on their side, and it looked similar to one fielded by the BC Freedom (french) team. That team was known for bickering and infighting, so Oorai had their french tank sneak around and act like one of them...which caused their two factions to start infighting. By the time the team captain, the blonde in the little tank, broke it up, they were already surrounded. But they made a valiant last stand.
But yeah, it's two sides...like sports teams from high schools. Except the sport is tanks.

@@wessel2009 the arl 44 I believe was designed during ww2 after or during the axis occupation, of course it would of been in secret if during the occupation
I'm confused because of the FT, is a 2 man tank, yet the tank commander is outside and can fire and reload, the only way she does this is because she reloads with her... feet?
@@wessel2009 if they used apbc 37mm then no, they cannot but if they use apds 37mm then they can pen easily.
@@dedblin8256 If the commander is outside, the gunner had to reload it by herself.
I do think the Char B1 was one of the major factors in turning the tide fighting against the French school.

Am I the only one who loved how BC Freedom's "final stand" showed only their point of view? Without hearing Miho and the rest, Ooarai felt like an actual THREAT seeing them completely surround Marie's tank.
I haven't seen this episode yet but I just realized why BC start infighting, Oorai have a tank that looks like one of types that BC uses. Oorai was instigating a fight between the two groups of tanks within BC. I didn't think anything of it at first, but I noticed the Mallard Team tank has a different color scheme than BC. I only noticed it after the BC and Mallard Team tanks lined up at 0:42.
Correct, the Mallard Team's Char B1 bis' turret and cannon is identical to BC Freedom's SOMUA turrets and cannons.
it wasn't that hard to incite BC freedom to start fighting, they are french after all

Let's be honest, if this 'friend-enemy' relationship between Andou and Oshida were to happen in any military, it would be an absolute disaster. If I was in command of my own tank or infantry regiment, battalion, or whoever I'm leading, I would immediately separate those two, not among my command, but to other units, where they would have ZERO contact whatsoever. Why Maria would tolerate this animosity between Andou and Oshida is beyond any reasoning.

They were behaving relatively well until oorai used their char b1 to trick the French team Into thinking that it was friendly fire which caused conflict inside the team
They are supposed to be a French team, infighting is so frequent there you could set your watch to it

they were being spart on their method of seek attack in the forest but the Mark 4 had no armor it could barley hold up agenst rifle shots. if you have a well hidden ambush possition that the enmey does not know about, stay there

@@togerthetigerking951 I think it's the joke on the quality of French tanks; mobile, fast, but armor being crap cuz of fatal designs. Huge gaps, exposed or poorly armored vitals.
Most of those shots were aimed at the engine block or the turret ring.
@@LuoSon312_G8 From memory its been awhile i've read history book but french tank were the opposite of what you said, they were slow, and well armored for their time. Their role was to support infantry not do blitzkrieg like the german doctrine
