I'm so dumb. So I've got a GPU tweak that has a "game boost" option that kills "unnecessary services." Apparently, it thinks NVIDIA Container is an unnecessary service, so it stopped the service. If anyone runs something that kills "unnecessary" stuff, this might be the culprit.
Lol you thought you were stupid? I tried all of these tricks to try to get my control panel open and in the end my control panel was working the whole time. My stupid ass though it was going to open some fancy app like what AMD has where you can see things like power usage, voltage and so on in real time.
Why in the world of wtf would ANY other app interfere with external and essential service pipelines? that is straight up blasphemy in programming, you cannot assume in your own code, let alone elsewhere that is not yours. If any app does this on my system, *INSTA* uninstall. period.
1) Program does not run properly 2) Use nvidia control panel to fix it 3) Nvidia control panel doesn't open 4) Its just crashes everytime , i open it 5) Goes on RUclips to find tutorial regarding this issue 6) Spend 1-2 hours doing that 7) Nothing Worked 8) Time to update driver 9) Spend 30 minutes updating driver 10) Time to restart laptop 11) Laptop now stuck on infinity loop of restarting 13) Laptop does not start 14) Again spending 1 hours in recovery mode 15) Did everything startup up repair , system restore , uninstalling updates , troubleshooting , command compt 16) Nothing worked 17) I am crying now
Non of it worked. Had everything done before I saw this vid (newest driver, all nvidia services were on) still not opening. when I tried to uninstall it and then install back on microsoft store, it couldnt uninstall and then couldnt download it back for some reason. So nothing really helped. Anny idea?
This didn't work for me ,but I managed to fix it on my own. The problem: Unable to update "GeForce game ready" driver (kept saying "failed to download") and unable to even open Nvidia control panel. Solution: Looked up the driver the GeForce experience app was failing to download (it tells you which driver version is available to download) and downloaded directly from Nvidia. Then I installed manually. This resulted in being able to finally open the Nvidia control panel. Hope this helps someone.
Thank you! This helped me, finally! I pretty much always had the issue that i can't open the NVIDIA control panel or that it said that it's not compatible with my driver/device, however, usually it just opens without errors.I watched this tutorial, i had the problem with the service, it was set to manual, and when i set it to automatic and started it, the NVIDIA control panel could be opened as expected. Thank you! Really helpful. Liked and subbed.
thanks so much, the services one helped my fix. i knew the drivers would work but im using older ones as they give me better performance. left a like and sub
Yeah... this didn't work for me. The drivers aren't working at all, at the system sees a problem with the graphics card itself. Doesn't help if I'm restarting the laptop, restarting the services, kill them, try to reinstall the drivers(actually GeForce experience shows that it is installing the drivers at the end of which they are "theoretically" installed but still need to be installed). Everything after a damn Windows 11 update. What I am left now with is Option 1: try to uninstall all the Windows updates from this and last month. If this does not work, than, Option 2, which I loathe but know to be working, completely reinstall Windows aaaaand block all Windows updates.
The only solution that seems to work for me is to install the drivers and GeForce experience interface provided by the manufacturer and update everything through these channels.
Unfortunately didn't work for me, when both of the Nvidia containers in services are set to stopped, when I try enable start an error message pops up. It says Windows could not start container on local computer, Error 1068 failed to start. Both Geforce experience and control panel pop up error messages, yet I have up to date drivers installed.

i just got a rtx 3050 laptop and geforce exp boots and opens but cant go onto home or into settings aswell
@@sharoncunningham9578 btw i think i deleted geforce experience and re-download it and did the same with nvidia control panel but i don’t remember sorry
I tried everything with driver sweeper ddu, fresh installation with renaming the files etc. didn't help. When I want to open the 3D settings, the control panel crashes
My card is in device manager with latest driver but g force says no driver installed 😢 I've used udd to remove and reinstall but nothing works any ideas please.
I pressed display and clicked the only option for it. When it showed the GIANT 1 on my screen I closed the app and now when I press right click and try to open it. it wont pop up? all I wanted to do was change my saturation but when I pressed apply it didn't change anything at all. \
It's not letting me start NVIDIA Display Container LS, I just get an error saying "Windows could not start the NVIDIA Display Container LS service on Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion".
I got a question sir. My pc doesn't have enough storage on the c disk and I have been trying to move it to my d disk because thats where all my storage is at. I also have tried making room on my c disk but it says I need permission to delete files. But its my pc idk what to do.

im having a driver issue currently and hoped this would fix the issue but unfortunately to no avail. I created a system image on an hdd, wiped my system, then restored my image after sending my notebook to be repaired. (Dell g7 7500) I have 2070 max q design and my computer is recognizing the card, but in device mangager it has been throwing an error 43 which hints at a driver issue. i click disable on the gpu then enable and it no longer has the error but it seems to reapear after restarts occasionally. When i open geforce experience, it would say "no driver found" my nvidia control panel also will not open and run. ive done this method to clean the drivers, ive downloaded the correct driver through the website, uninstalled control panel, nvidia etc, but everytime i update the driver, geforce doesnt recognize the updated driver, and it allows me to simply download the driver again, and my control panel wont open. :( thinking a clean windows install might fix the issue, if not i suppose ill have to tear open my notebook and look for a possible disconnection around the gpu area? im not well versed and havent dealt with driver issues in the past until i sent the notebook out clean, and then restored my system image file. ive also done these fixes with the hdd with the orignial image plugged in! any advice is appreciated! thank uuuu
what if it is completely missing, and says you need too download it from the Microsoft store, but that is missing as well. Tried this, the Local files are not running and it wont let me. Error code 14109 a generic command executable returned a result that indicates failure.
i tried every method i could think of trying to fix this, and you fix it in under 2 mins, this video is gold my friend
