A euphorically pleasant experience most welcome. It is good to see you are well. Every thing was perfect. Your outfit, makeup and hair, the instrument your performance. Wonderful effort. Museum quality. 🕊💐❤💐🕊
Excellent rendition in the spirit of that time on a very beautiful instrument, but cut off those wound-up string remnants! 😉You can sometimes see this in old images because the strings were delivered much longer than the scale of the instrument. This meant that a surplus could still be used. The 10/15 cm modern string that you did not cut off can no longer serve any purpose and is untidy. Thanks for making revive this beautiful soft soundscape.
There are reasons we dont play old Vienna Type Guitars anymore. The small bodies have a small sound, no heights, no bass. Also the Nail playing is standard since Aguado, more than 200 years ago. The sound here is bad, hear it on an after Torres Spanish guitar of today. We listen to Mozart also much better on a todays Grand Piano, not on a Cembalo or spinet . Nice playing but muffled sound here.
1. Don't use 'we'. You are not a representative of all guitarists. 2. You compare apples with pears. There are many guitars that sound different to what you call the 'standard'. Lattice bracing has its specific character, and why should that be a bad thing? Do you think you are smarter than the composers, luthiers and the audience in earlier days? Each period has its own colours, shapes and sound ideal. If you don't accept that, you will face a lot of frustration in your life.
If they had put the microphone in a position close (1-2cm) to bottom of lower bout this would sound more modern. Delicate sounding guitars are difficult to record, and this is very good. Lovely performance! I very much like the character of sound from old instrument designs, like vintage wine. They don't all need to be kevlar double-tops.
Impressive jazzy harmony in the early 19th century. Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻
Tocante! Que bela interpretação! 👏👏👏⚘️
nice..
A lovely performance, beautifully paced. It's nice to see you back Ieva. I guess the guitar is a copy of an instrument from the time of Sor?
Beautiful performance. This must be very close to how Fernando Sor actually sounded like.
beautifulsound and song!do you use nails?

How long does it take for a professional like you to learn a piece like this?

Are you interested in the music or the visuals? Extra string cannot be heard in recordings, you know?

Thank you for revealing yourself as the conservative ignoramus you are. Well done.

Glad you're back, missed your videos. Another great one
Welcome back. Emotive interpretation. Do you find it difficult to switch from "lute right hand" to "guitar right hand"?
благодарю за отличное исполнение.
Absolutely brilliant
J'adore !!
Muito bom!
