Hey! I am thinking about restoring a DKW RT 200 too. If the motor has compression. how hard is it to get running?

It is quite easy . You need to clean carburetor ,and break contact on ignition( if necessary) . If you get the spark, the engine will start up, the ignition need to be in working order .
