      Toy industries need to something that can be mass produced fast to make profit. No company will try to spend a whole month to produce only a few and sell for a cheap price. If you like these to be on the market, expect limited quantity and a few thousands bucks

    just throwing an idea. When you are making the stones, you could probably use some neodymium magnets so you can actually put and remove the stones. That will also help to have the effect of the stones getting pulled in to the gauntlet.

    For all of the commenters complaning about spoilers from this build, relax. The only thing "spoiled" is that Stark makes an infinity gauntlet, nothing else. You don't know why it's made, how they got the stones from Thanos, who lives or dies in the battle, or anything else about the plot of the actual movie (which I have yet to see as well as of this comment posting). If you watched any of the movie trailers for Endgame, those actually spoil more for the movie than this build video does so just relax and enjoy the hard work this guy does to make something cool for us to thoroughly enjoy and then GIVES IT AWAY FOR FREE.

    btw, There's someone in the comment section who's angry at this youtuber because he posted spoilers (smh).
    It's been like 2-3 weeks already. People can finally post stuff on Social Media and everyone can finally talk about this movie. So if you think you can safely browse 9gag, facebook ,youtube, twitter or any other sites Without seeing any spoilers for yourself then guess what,
    *You're in the Endgame now*

    • @OGrupxe
      @OGrupxe 5 лет назад

      Fun fact: The right-handed gauntlet's only use, when completed, is to snap. You cannot use the stones individually without getting harmed or killed yourself because it is made out of Nano-Tech, and not Uru, which is a metal that can fully absorb and disperse magical energy.
      The left one, however, is fully made out of Uru, which is why Thanos can use the stones over and over without harming himself too much.

    For those that are impatient and want to make stone settings but ASAP you could search *OVAL Shaped dimple die* which should bring you to a site (not listing sites on someone else's channel) that will allow you to buy 0.188, 0.385, 0.430, and 0.580 inch tip diameter dies but there may be other sizes cause I just looked for about 10 sec. *Please note* you will have to have some kind of press (hydraulic, or even an arbor press if the metal is thin enough, to create this shape) and it will only get you to a starting point. You will have to final shape you holes.
    *cleco fasteners* are another nice tool to temporary hold your pieces together. His methods are great and they work, plus it gives a "I made all this" good vibe feeling, metal shaping tools give you ADD and ADHD people a quicker result but do come with a price tag.
    EDIT: another nice tool for us non-painting-want-to get-color-down-now-can't-wait-for-the-last-coat-to-tack-up-and-our-first-coat-was-way-to-heavy-and-wet kind of people you might want to search for a *DIY Powder Coating Gun* and get a toaster oven (or an old oven if you need larger room) and get an amazing finish. *Please note* Do not use your mom's/wife's oven as you will poison everyone that eats out of it after you cure your parts. *Also* you might have to have an air compressor to use the gun depending what you buy. (not posting sites on someone else's channel still).
    *Do your research* for which type of this and that you might want to buy. Some things are not worth the price, some things take extra stuff to use

They are primarily hand tools you can get at any of the big box stores such as Lowe's/Home Depot, even Harbor Freight/Menard's. I went through the used tools at a pawn shop to pick some up for a cheaper price. He doesn't use anything that isn't easily accessible for us newbies to get a hold of and give it a go. :-)

    A DIY infinity stone Gauntlet that can bend far enough to 'snap'
    Nice.

    • @DavidGuyton
      @DavidGuyton  5 лет назад +2

      I designed it that way for this very reason. And yes the snap sound is edited in, however it really does make a sound similar to snapping when I do it. Not a SNAP, really, but a sound that could be interpreted as a snap

    • @DavidGuyton
      @DavidGuyton  5 лет назад +2

      Check out my latest tutorial where I make the original Infinity Gauntlet. I go over it better in that video. You will need to make your shapes in something hard...in this case I used plaster than I broke up onto the shapes I wanted. Then I sprayed them with a solution of about 1 part Elmer's glue and 5 parts water. Let that dry overnight. then paint with some glossy spray paint and let that fully dry. Then you will need to make a silicone mold. I use Smooth-On OOMOO 30. Mix it in equal parts and then pour the mold around your parts.

    it would be awesome to put sensors than light up the stones for every finger and the mind stone would get activated by pushing your thumb to the side instead of your palm

    Hey man, great build, I've just bought some of your stones and I've had an idea I wanted to run by you for my build: Do you think it's doable to wire a push button into the circuit and position it into the palm of the glove so that the stones glow when you close your fist (One of your fingers would provide sufficient pressure to the switch in the palm)?
    I also wanted to check with you how customise-able the templates are size-wise or if your builds are a one-size-fits-all kind of deal.
    Thanks a bunch and keep up the good work.

      Hi Ricky. Yes I recognize the name...your stones are on their way to the UK. As far as a button, yes that's totally doable, but you'll need to find one that has the right resistance when you push on it. I imagine for what you want to do, it has to be fairly easy to push. The button I used (inside the Vambrace) is a pretty standard plastic toggle switch, and wouldn't work for what you are planning. As far as sizing, you can alter the size using your printer or having an office supply store scale it up or down for you. You'll have to keep in mind the size of the stones though. Since they are a fixed size, you'll need to be sure you make the knuckleplate can accommodate them. They will fit the gauntlet exactly if you make it the size the template calls for, but if you want to make it a little smaller, you'll probably need to keep the holes where the stones go roughly the same size as indicated in the template.

    Most fanmade gauntlets i saw seems off - maybe too big or not fit well i dont know.
    But your gauntlet seems soo comfort to wear and SOLID!.

    Infinity Stones in both this (rough texture) version, and the Thanos (smooth, Infinity Gauntlet) version are now available at the Armor Templates website. They will go fast...first come first serve. I will crank them out as fast as I can to keep up with demand. armortemplates.com/infinitystones.htm

      @@radrush_mx957 Good luck. Materials to mold, cast, and color these will run you about $100, let alone the $150 pressure pot required to eliminate bubbles. But by all means do it yourself if you have the time, equipment and materials.
