- Here is a video with a sequence of some of the photos I took while rebuilding this 1985 BMW K100RT. Somewhat inspired by cafe racers but more of just a custom bike with bits and pieces I liked. Almost complete once the body pieces are painted. I have many more photos if you want to see something specific, just let me know.
As somebody born in 1975 in "West-Germany", I very much like to see that stamped into the frame of that ol´girl. Great job!

I can't help feeling that you turned a beautiful old brick sh1t-house of a bike into a two wheeled Frankenstein. Still so long as it made you happy then that's what counts.
im 3 days away of buying a 1984 k100lt and i cant wait to start working on that bad boy
Nice touch doing the ride at the end. I wish more people would add the payoff at the end.
i dont like the sound of many 4 cylinders, but the k100 4 cylinder sound is just one of a kind. Its so different compared to the typical r6 and cb650 sounding bikes. I also like the r1 crossplane sound.

Had a gray one, but had to sell. The only thing I didn't like was the design of the windshield. Great job.

I love the Warrior too, such a fun bike. Mine has a few mods, Cobra pipes, Big Air Kit, headlight fairing and chin spoiler, fuel line quick disconnect, and a few other little things.

Sorry if this was mentioned already- Do you have a parts list for the upgrades (like the seat/headlight)? Or do you have website you would recommend for parts?
What did you use to setup your Acewell speedometer? I have the same one and will try to use a Tenet BEP to set it up. Any considerations?
Using a BEP 3.0, still trying to figure out the tachometer settings/wiring. Everything else seems to work well.
Mike, might your side bags be for sale? oh and the brackets that hold them on, actually I need the brackets more.

Including the bike itself, probably about $4000 - $5000 US. The BMW OEM replacement parts (gaskets, water pump, etc) aren't cheap...
can i reach you in person somehow, I'm wondering what was your way restoring the controls gadgets and buttons at 9:30
I used a Turtle Wax Headlight Restoration kit on the buttons. I think any headlight restoration kit does an OK job. They definitely don’t look perfect but are better than they were.

what exhaust is this?
It is the stock exhaust but I cut off quite a bit of it. Also shaved any of the tabs for the best shield, then brass wheel polished what was left. Around 6:00 in the video shows the finished product.

Agreed, for some reason I went with the drag bar over clip ons. May switch it out to clip ons some day to make it more like a cafe racer.

only one problem this bike have, bmw not have ewer made anythink bike only big shit has factory made and move out. this have true. bmw not understand bike anythink. and all year 2000 newest car have europe wors big shit, bmw own engineer has say all new engines have only big shit and problem steel. big trash.
