Hi - you can scan in receipts and attach them to transactions after you've entered them into the register. The other way you can do that is to store those hundreds of receipts somewhere and just have them as backup in case you get audited. It would be good to organize them by date. going forward, you can attach receipts as you go. You don't HAVE to attach receipts in QBO, but it is best practice to have a receipt to support every transaction. You could also look into a receipt management system like Dext or Hubdoc - that might help you streamline and store your receipts.

I find most people spend less time on their bookkeeping when they move to QBO and it yields more accurate results for taxes if you are doing it on a spreadsheet. I generally say a spreadsheet can work if you are making less than $1,000 per month and have 1 bank account.
@@ClaraCFO do allot of like the old fashion way we are in Trucking so a lot of going through expenses like fuel and repairs and douple checking with bank statements. Cutting my time on the computer and taking notes would probably be the reason for me to try it out.
