FOGSI is collaborating with many International organizations including FIGO [International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics]. Major issues to be dealt through FOGSI -FIGO Collaboration are cervical cancer prevention & treatment and reduction in maternal mortality. Early detection and prevention of Cancer cervix is most important. HPV vaccine given to girls before marriage or before exposure to HPV virus can eradicate this disease.
