I think we should have 60% televoting at ESC too. We still have jury, but more power is given to public and I think this served like a great example to EBU.
@@lauravision2791 Well, EBU still hasn't strictly mentioned what ratio will we have in the final, it just stands that ratio will be approved and determined by Reference Group.

I’m Norwegian, not really an Eurovision fan, and don’t usually watch the MGP. But I used to listen to Gåte years and years ago, and your videos made me curious - so I ended up watching the whole thing. Think I also need to watch the final in Malmö.
I loved seeing your reaction to the voting. I myself was pretty sure that Gåte would win, but had settled on the possibility that we could send Keiino or Gothminister as well. Nevertheless, I am very happy that Gåte got the necessary points from the people to win. If it had been 50/50 between the juries and the people, Keiino would have won, and I think the Norwegian people would have been outraged that juries from other countries had taken away our chance to send Gåte to Eurovision. I like Keiino very much, but their song this year was not the right one for the Norwegian people. Gåte gave us what we wanted, and fortunately they will be the ones who will represent Norway in Malmö.

This is why good quality songs will never win eurovision, there are too many people actually not liking songs like Ulveham or Eaea. But then again I also don't understand how a jury composed of artists also don't feel like Ulveham is a masterpiece, it feels like they only have pop 'artists' in there. This time we got lucky but next time something like My AI will win and I will be disappointed in humanity. Doesn't the average person have any feeling for real music anymore? Ulveham is probably my favorite song of the last 10 years going to Eurovision and yet it scraped by. It's been since 1995 that the song I liked the most won, and that was also Norway, so maybe, just maybe !

I do find it strange that some juries didn’t give anything to Ulveham, when I thought juries were supposed to appreciate vocals!
