Also, literally while I was uploading this video, there was a HUGE update to the event. While the tips and tricks are still all the same, just bear in mind that some of the vehicles are mildly different compared to what I say in this video. the biggest difference is probably that the strong boar was massively nerfed to 0.75kg tnt for the grenade
@@vaultence9859Maybe 1.75🤔 but the guy in the basement mistakenly dialed it to 0.75😅 and now it is exactly 0.75😂
The boar no longer can overpressure entire crews. Sad…
The main issue is the evac camping, I’m not playing until they do something about it

Yea i assumed they will do nothing about it. I just have a mini heart attack making a blockade run trying to get to evac while under heavy fire. Very healthy and balanced gameplay

Learn to teamwork with randoms aka group up +4 players and exfil campers will be problem of the past.
@@danlievonen I agree but don't you think it's a huge assumption to think your teammates have any interest let alone capability to work in anything resembling a team?
Useful fact, brining an armored variant (solid or powerful) add significant weight and always reduces your total cargo space by 20% regardless of vehicle. -5 for base 25 vehicles, -10 for the base 50 boar, and -20 for the base 100 mule.
1 Tip - If you change your scope to Short Range Sight you will be able to use rangefinder :)

@@Tenebrius1963 I dont know how much battles do you have, i dont know if you even know what is rangefinder... Only thing i can assume is that you are lvl 30 in Germany highest vehicle researched is Tiger II(P) and pointing and clicking central mass is the only strategy without using rangefinder, because thats what all german mains are... I dont know what is so hard not knowing that if you are using sight made for this gamemode you CANNOT use rangefinder and by changing it to different sight will bypass this restriction

they changed some stuff in the event today like the match now goes 20minutes instead of 15min and they increased the accuraty of mainly the twin guns on the boar
Other tips:
1. Be honorable - at the end of the match when people are sprinting for evacs, dont kill them, its just dishonorable
2. If someone offers peace in chat, accept it - much better resources for that match, and i promise there will be another server with no such truce if you need rage
I'd like to use this reply to apologize to AtomicAlpaca, who helped me out of a situation in the event, and i got trigger happy and killed them because I thought i didnt know their intentions. Wherever you are, I salute you
Easier said than done, I tried doing something like that and all I got was no resources and booted back to the main menu.
With the new update, as of today, you can spawn the Mule with out needing a rage token!
boar just got nerfed, the rpg explosive mass is now .75 instewd of like 3.5. its doo doo now
the mule now doesnt need a rage token to spawn, and the armadillo is slightly faster 75kph now

Only thing im playing the event is because i want the spikes, already got the metal flame. Other than those ive no interest in this event.
Same loved the mad max game so hoping to recreate a couple of the event vehicles with decals in game
i thinkthe black spikes are cool to put them on like the top of a m22 to make it emo xD
I hate the exfil spots, and it’s just way too easy for people to camp them. Even if it’s not their own. They know they can because they spawn right near it, and that’s your teams exfil spot.
Honestly they need to make all crafting events like this, because waiting for like 5 years just to get one part of a big thing, fucking sucks
Freaking love flying around with the flamethrower equipped lil vehicle 😂 Couldn't careless about the "rewards" just having a bunch of fun in this mode. But i have always liked extraction game modes so that probably helps.

Its just way too grindy. The vehicles should be able to carry at least 2x the amount of resources
Why not just have fun in the quirky game mode? Playing just to "grind" turns this more into an unpaid job than it does a game lmao
@@wingy252 well I want to play all the vehicles so you kinda have to grind. Not that I'm not having fun, but winning is fun and getting one shot by a 105mm napalm shell is not
this event is just bad..... Like IK its a April 1st event but that begs the question why do I have to grind in this event? am I gonna earn anything in the normal game after this?

Dude, it's one of the best events that War Thunder has put out solely because you're not at the mercy of RNG to get materials, you can easily get like at LEAST 50 total materials per match even if you play it without sweating.
It's not a bad event, you just don't like it.

My experience has been the opposite of the other events, I've gotten materials to craft things with the fastest I've ever done before and I've been able to focus on materials that I need, like "Oh, I need electronics to progress, okay, I'll go over to the area that drops electronics" and bam, got the electronics.

The strong/powerful boar has the M40 rifle which is a recoilless rifle, not RPG. Thanks for the tips though.
But an RPG is a recoilless rifle technically more so a recoilless gun I suppose due to the lack of rifling
@@wingy252 yea RPGs could be considered recoilless guns but guns are usually defined by propelling a projectile by pressure/explosive force, which the launcher for an RPG doesn't it just guides the rocket during the launch while the rocket itself does the propelling.
@@MechTechMax Well, here is my 5 c - the top mount looks more like an M20 - 75mm RCL (recoilless rifle). The M40 is 106mm. But hey, when WT goes all Mad Max it's not really about authenticity...
@@MeIduce IIRC it's says 106mm in the tooltip, which makes it the M40 which is actually 105mm but called 106mm to prevent confusion (like the 75 vs 76mm Sherman guns). The reason it's still likely a recoilless rifle is because of the low velocity as opposed to RPGs. Though they did lower the explosive filler for balance and it is a fictional event so anything goes.
I rly enjoyed this event actually, pretty cool vehicles, sucks its limited time didn't get a chance to play it much but did unlock spikes and flames.
The powerful rhino is basicaly a mini nuke luncher, it one shots most of the time and the fires can finish off player if the crew is exposed

Agree this event is uncharacteristically sloppy. Lots of bugs and bad exploits. It seems they fixed the silo invincible exploit at least. Im STILL experiencing the "3rd spawn" bug where i can't look around or use map/aim guns. I can still drive but it's hard and leaves me totally open to enemies
İnstead the develop game mode for that. I would wanna see they fixing fuel problem and Arb problems

I have this weird bug where i cant slew the weapon or evac on my third spawn. Super frustrating happens every game

I installed the loopscanner but it has absolutely no effect. It doesn't show anything. If I drive over junk, the car still collects stuff.
Gotta zoom your weapon, and it shows loot with a green crosshair.
I have a glitch where as when I spawn for the third time I cannot aim ,I can shoot but it's like half my keyboard doesn't work

I want to like this event so much but I can't. Out of the five matches I've played everyone just evac camps. I am YET to evac at all....period
How to you bind your loot scanner? I hat having to press R + ALT
loot scanner works only when you use your binoculars or the gun sight, the loot appear as green dots in the screen

The rino is been nerfed... once i almost oneshot killed any enemy, now it tooks several shots... it's pathetic

rage scanner mod just doesn’t work on console, you can’t activate at all and there’s no listings for it in the settings/controls/options so i can’t even make a bind for it either
It is bound to one of the radar control buttons but I don’t remember which. Go into a match and bind them one at a time until you can use it.

Justvsome decals, few trophy/bolt ons. Only thing i was vaguely interested in were the spikes, but meh. Especially with how unfun the event is.

Echidna is somehow the worst vehicle... how a 40mm AA cannon doesnt take out a car with multiple hits to critical areas is beyond me. Might as well be shooting paintballs at them. If it recoils enought to require constamt resteadying, i expect it to hit with enough force to warrant it. So right off the bat, 1/3 vehicles is basically useless. Doesnt even have the speed to dash and grab.
All autocannons use solid AP rounds...you can guess how well it works against soft targets already.

@@footofblut981 WT just released some updates to the event, so now, if you have the Mule, it no longer costs rage tokens to spawn.
My biggest tip: Don't play. Edit: to slightly expand on this. Snail made a gamemode, in a tank battlegame. Where i am punished for seeking out tank battles. Yeah, i might be able to get resources from a fight that leaves me mostly disabled for the next person to kill me. Or its really interesting spending 2-3 min just driving to an evac to get killed. Game mode could have been cool, its just got too many issues.
They need to nerf the strong/powerful boar. Its hilariously overpowered. Along with the Rhino.
not doing the events , i am taking advantage of vet players doing these events...this looks boring arty cannons on trucks dull tan colored unrusted box shaped cars, id rather see all events from the past in a game mode then redo them
I have a tip for you all. Stop playing WT. Stop feeding the Gaijin hamster wheel. The game is extremely broken past tier 4 and 5

As I predicted, this event is absolutely awful. WT and Gaijin are the bottom of the barrel in my opinion now.
It would be a more efficient event to play if people didn't extract camp or act petty af. So honestly full skipping this garbage. Rewards are trash, gameplay sucks.

I've actually been enjoying the event A LOT, but I can imagine someone that isn't good at shooting with auto cannons and AP would have a horrible time.

Additionally I have a ton of experience with all CV9040's and Japanese/Swedish high tier spaa's so uh yeah.... I do know how to shoot an auto cannon?!???
Point in case people disliking the event has nothing to do with skill, (I mean just look at my content) but instead it's the fact that the event has terrible execution and is a crafting event in disguise. (A poor disguise at that)
