- The Suzuki swift Gti was a great little hothatch coming out in the late 80s and the Suzuki Swift Sport Hybrid is the lastest generation of sporty Swift.
This swift sport is all about having fun on the backroads and with the reliability and practiciality of the stand Swift Hybrid. At nearly £22,000, less performance and heavier this car on paper seems to be a backwards step for Suzuki, should you buy this latest model or buy the previous Swift sport.
In the video we look at the styling of the swift sport, performance, cost, styling and general fun of this little city car.

Its been well discussed that this car's 0-60 time is quite a bit faster than the conservative 9 secs that Suzuki claim. Some have claimed 7.2 - 7.4 seconds and that's before any stage one upgrades. Great video btw.
Glad you enjoyed it🙏, most manufactures seem very conservative with the 0-60 times. I suppose you are presently surprised when it’s quicker
Loved the video , we took our Honda Hrv for an mot in Scunthorpe and came away having bought this swift in the red with black roof , l just loved the look and feel to the car , pick it up next Saturday so work is going to be a long week till then . I love the hybrid aspect to this car and didn’t buy it purely for speed .

I've seen some reviews on this car, and you sir, are by far the best i've seen hands down. I got the same, like exactly the same colour model (left driving wheel) ect and i couldn't have done a better job presenting it! Will gladly enjoy your other vidz as subscriber! cheers

My Sport Hybrid, arrive in october, I drove one and I love it, quick enough and very pratical and confort, its for all day use, all good excuses for buy one "for the family" 😉
It’s perfect in that way being a family car when you need it and then when you are on your own find some backroads and enjoy yourself 😜 are you in the uk ?
Its the family car for city, i'm from near Lisbon, Swift its great for get kids from school and go the beach or to the mountain, easy to park, good fuel effiency, suspension its not too stiff and exhaust not too loud, so many things to put a Smile in the face, and very important, wife loves it too 😁
The last point is the most important 😂
So it has an additional electric motor? If it still has 1.4 boosterjet it should be faster but it shouldn't reduce emmisions. It should be better to drive as there is more torque. Howver a bit of a weight penalty which could reduce the agility. Talk more focussed.
The petrol engine produces less power and even with the hybrid assist the overall output is lower than before so a bit heavier and less power means 0-60 is slower but the electric motor torque fills so feels just as quick. Suzuki have added the electric motor to reduce emissions across the range
Have Suzuki done away with the standard 14 bosterjet Suzuki Swift sport.
In the Uk it is just the hybrid model due to emissions primarily

Really please you enjoyed the review, great little cars and actually pretty good value for money even with the increase in price based on the amount of tech you get :)
For me the main disappointment is the sound track. it’s not just Suzuki it’s all manufacturers but EU laws force them to make the changes so nothing you can do (other than fitting a new exhaust but then effects your warranty)
