    I think the real estate example you cited is not a good example, because pricing is determined on prior sales...and if you give them brochures which present those as factual data, that's how home valuation is determined.

      Great point, first of all the original example was not done by me but rather by a study cited tens of thousands of times in literature, you can learn more of that here: web.missouri.edu/segerti/capstone/northcraft_neale.pdf
      Second of all, the point was that even the research control group, the university students with no real estate experience, said the same thing.
      Almost everything we buy is based on what we perceive it's value is and almost always that comes from judging it next to comparable items, real estate is not the first and only industry to do that.
      The point is even though the pricing was raised by hundreds of percentage points (and also had some normal valuations in the same brochure), the "experts" didn't think anything of it, they just took the first piece of informaiton they were given and ran with it, which is exactly what anchoring bias describes.

    What are your thoughts on going full performance based agency and just taking ROAS deals for Ecom

      I love the idea, but I wouldn't ever go full-performance based, in my opinion you can at least always take a $3k-$5k base retainer, that will cover your costs and cost per acquire.
      Then the rest is on the retainer, safer, but a lot of upside, let me know if you have any additional questions!
