Yes it was VERY helpful! A large USPS flat rate box is like $22 to ship. I didn't want to charge that amount so I was doing pick up only. Now I know what to do. Which I love! Thank you 💕

As an herbalist, I take pride in handcrafting vegan herbal products such as capsules, tinctures, and balms. Running this business requires a significant investment of time, energy, and effort. Sometimes customers may not fully appreciate the work involved and the costs incurred. For instance, I had a customer who wanted a herbal blend of loose-leaf tea for hair growth. Although the original price was $25 for a 4 oz bag, I offered it to them for $15. Unfortunately, they didn't pay the invoice, so I had to send them a second invoice. Thankfully, they eventually paid. It's important for me to communicate the value of my products and the effort that goes into creating them. don't understand why people don't respect small businesses but will spend all of their money on these big corporations. I said that to say this, I am moved by your message, and as small business owners, we have to stand firm on our pricing, regardless of whether anyone makes us feel differently. I will take heed to your shipping advice, I wish you all the best in your business endeavors

Thank you for providing this information when you have 50 million things going on. because I offer delivery and pick-up, I probably won’t be able to include shipping in the total cost. What do you suggest for that? Because i agree with you: i love that “free shipping” label, but when shipping perishables, it’s costly and people will get turned off from the shipping cost
I just paid $265 for next day shipping with USPS today! I meal prep and have a client who is very far away. I need a better way. He's an athlete so he can afford it but not everyone can and I want to service everyone
Definitely a Spiritual journey and we have to work through our mental limitations and mindset. Whew! It's deep. I craft artisanal cheesecakes (perishable!!!!) and I do charge for shipping, but I've raised the $ on the product some and charge flat rate shipping, nationwide. My shipments to closer areas offset those shipments farther away. It's been going well so far. Continued blessings!

Shipping AND delivery has definitely put me at a stand still. The ideal of not compromising the product (chocolate covered strawberries) has me stuck and paralyzed to even try. My friends ask me all the time if I ship and sale my products, which I mostly do for fun. I just didn't want to get into what I saw ask a risk to add stress to something I have fun doing.
