- I make occupational therapy student vlog content to help you feel more normal in your grad school journey. Here is everything I wish I knew before starting grad school as an occupational therapy student.
This is great to know. Thank you for making this video. I can’t wait to start my program in 2023!
Glad I could help! Congrats. Enjoy it! So excited to be colleagues one day!
I really enjoyed this video, thanks for sharing :) watching this made me all the more excited to begin OT school next fall!
I’m glad I could share it! I remember consuming all the OT content when I found out I got in. Such an exciting time. Good luck in school!!
Why do you not want to work in peds if you don't mind sharing? I feel like its the most common setting that people want to work in before grad school, but a lot of people change their mind as they go through the program and fieldwork.
I agree that it’s super common. I’m not sure why that is. The type of rehab that is most common in peds simply doesn’t interest me! I think the work is very important- but a lot of it is sensory integration or school based therapy and I’m not passionate about either route! I got some of my shadowing in peds and never loved it, however many of my classmates do love it
